Target roles in supply chain and operations
Cardinal Health's distribution and wholesale business drives demand for supply chain analysts, logistics coordinators, and operations managers. These functions align closely with the company's core business and represent strong areas for visa sponsorship consideration.
Understand the Green Card pathway
Cardinal Health has a strong track record of supporting permanent residence, particularly through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways. If long-term U.S. residency is your goal, ask about green card sponsorship timelines early in the interview process.
Check for F-1 OPT and CPT opportunities
Cardinal Health actively hires students and recent graduates through OPT and CPT programs. If you're finishing a degree in healthcare administration, supply chain, or data analytics, this is a practical entry point before pursuing H-1B sponsorship.
Canadian professionals should explore the TN visa
Cardinal Health sponsors TN visas, which is particularly valuable for Canadian professionals in eligible roles like engineers, accountants, and scientific technicians. TN processing is faster than H-1B and avoids the lottery entirely.
Apply well ahead of the H-1B lottery window
Cardinal Health participates in H-1B sponsorship, so timing matters. Align your job search to have an offer in place before March, when employers must register for the annual lottery. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history.
Focus your application on corporate functions with technical depth
Roles in IT, data analytics, finance, and regulatory affairs at Cardinal Health tend to require specialized degrees, making them more compatible with specialty occupation visa requirements. These departments have historically been active areas for international hires.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Cardinal Health sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Cardinal Health sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an established history of filing H-1B petitions, particularly for roles in technology, supply chain analytics, finance, and corporate operations. While H-1B sponsorship is subject to the annual lottery, Cardinal Health's consistent participation makes it a credible target for candidates planning their lottery-year job search.
Which visa types does Cardinal Health sponsor?
Cardinal Health sponsors H-1B visas, Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based preference categories, F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, and TN visas for eligible Canadian and Mexican professionals. This range of visa types makes Cardinal Health accessible to international candidates at different stages of their U.S. career.
Which departments or roles at Cardinal Health are most likely to sponsor visas?
Roles in information technology, supply chain management, data analytics, finance, and regulatory affairs are the most common areas where Cardinal Health extends visa sponsorship. These functions require specialized education and technical expertise, which aligns with specialty occupation requirements for H-1B and the skills-based criteria for EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards.
How do I find Cardinal Health jobs that offer visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate?
Migrate Mate verifies sponsorship history directly from government filing data, so you can browse Cardinal Health openings knowing the company has a real track record of sponsoring international candidates. Filter by company name or visa type to surface roles that match your situation, rather than relying on job postings that may not disclose sponsorship eligibility upfront.
How do I approach the Cardinal Health application process as an international candidate?
Be upfront about your visa status early in the process. Cardinal Health has experience navigating sponsorship across multiple visa categories, so a well-prepared candidate who can clearly explain their work authorization timeline and visa pathway is easier for their HR and legal teams to support. Research which visa type fits your situation before your first interview so you can speak to it confidently.
