Align your credentials with regulated logistics
Cardinal Health distributes pharmaceutical and medical products, so certifications like OSHA 10, forklift licensing, or cold-chain handling experience make your application stand out. Document these before applying, as they signal readiness for regulated warehouse environments.
Target distribution centers in high-hiring regions
Cardinal Health operates distribution hubs across the Midwest, Southeast, and Texas. Searching by facility location rather than generic keyword lets you identify sites actively filling Warehouse roles, which reflects where sponsorship decisions are actually made.
Start your OPT application timeline early
F-1 OPT authorization can take up to 90 days to process through USCIS. If you're finishing a supply chain or logistics degree, file your OPT application at least three months before your target start date so you're work-authorized when a Cardinal Health offer comes.
Confirm TN eligibility before your interview
Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying logistics-adjacent occupations may be eligible for TN status, which Cardinal Health sponsors. Review the DOL's USMCA occupational categories before your interview so you can speak to your eligibility directly if it comes up.
Clarify the sponsorship process before accepting an offer
Cardinal Health's HR and legal teams handle I-129 filings internally for most roles. Ask your recruiter during the offer stage which visa types the specific facility supports, since sponsorship decisions can vary by business unit and location within a large distribution network.
Use Migrate Mate to find open roles efficiently
Warehouse openings at large distributors like Cardinal Health fill quickly and aren't always flagged as visa-friendly on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Cardinal Health Warehouse roles that align with your visa type and current work authorization status.

Does Cardinal Health sponsor H-1B visas for Warehouse roles?
Yes, Cardinal Health sponsors H-1B visas, including for roles within its warehouse and distribution operations. H-1B sponsorship typically applies to positions requiring a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management or logistics. Because H-1B is subject to an annual lottery, timing your application and securing employer support well before the April registration window is critical.
How do I apply for Warehouse jobs at Cardinal Health?
Applications go through Cardinal Health's careers portal, where you can filter by job function and location. Search for roles in distribution center operations, inventory, or fulfillment. When applying, clearly state your work authorization status on the application. Migrate Mate also lists Cardinal Health Warehouse openings filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility, which can save significant research time.
Which visa types does Cardinal Health commonly sponsor for Warehouse positions?
Cardinal Health sponsors H-1B for degree-level roles, Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term hires, and supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students in supply chain or logistics programs. TN status is also available for qualifying Canadian and Mexican nationals. The right visa type depends on your nationality, education level, and the specific role's requirements.
What qualifications does Cardinal Health expect for sponsored Warehouse roles?
Cardinal Health's warehouse operations handle pharmaceutical-grade and medical product distribution, so relevant experience in regulated environments carries weight. A degree in supply chain, logistics, or operations management strengthens your case for sponsored roles. Practical certifications such as forklift operation, inventory systems proficiency, or OSHA compliance training are regularly referenced in job postings across their distribution network.
How do I time my visa sponsorship process for a Cardinal Health Warehouse role?
If you're on F-1 OPT, you can start in a Warehouse role immediately while USCIS processes an H-1B petition on your behalf before your OPT expires. The H-1B cap registration runs each March, with an October 1 start date if selected. For Green Card sponsorship through PERM, the DOL labor certification process typically adds 12 to 18 months, so early conversations with HR about long-term sponsorship intent matter.
