Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Supply Chain Jobs at Cardinal Health Jobs
Translate your credentials into healthcare logistics terms
Cardinal Health's Supply Chain roles sit inside a regulated healthcare distribution environment. Frame your resume around pharmaceutical cold-chain handling, medical device inventory systems, or FDA-adjacent compliance experience rather than generic supply chain keywords.
Target procurement and distribution center openings
Cardinal Health posts Supply Chain roles tied to specific distribution hubs and category management teams. Filtering by distribution center locations like Dublin, Ohio or regional logistics facilities surfaces roles where sponsorship is more consistently offered.
Search visa-sponsoring Supply Chain roles on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter Cardinal Health Supply Chain openings by visa type before applying. This saves you from pursuing roles where sponsorship isn't confirmed and lets you prioritize positions already associated with H-1B or OPT support.
Confirm OPT start timing with your DSO early
If you're transitioning from F-1 OPT into a Cardinal Health offer, your DSO needs to authorize the employment on your EAD before your start date. Post-completion OPT gives you 12 months, but STEM extensions require your employer to be E-Verify enrolled, which Cardinal Health is.
Understand how PERM shapes your long-term path
For permanent residence through EB-2 or EB-3, your employer files a PERM labor certification with the DOL before submitting an I-140. Supply Chain roles at large distributors like Cardinal Health are typically categorized under specific SOC codes that affect your priority date and processing timeline.
Prepare for a competency-based technical interview
Cardinal Health's Supply Chain hiring process emphasizes systems proficiency, specifically SAP and Oracle, alongside scenario questions about demand forecasting and supplier risk. Documenting measurable outcomes from past inventory or logistics projects strengthens your case for both the offer and the specialty occupation determination.

Find Supply Chain at Cardinal Health JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Cardinal Health sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chain roles?
Yes, Cardinal Health sponsors H-1B visas for Supply Chain positions that qualify as specialty occupations, meaning the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field like supply chain management, logistics, or engineering. Roles in procurement, inventory planning, and distribution operations have historically supported H-1B filings. Confirm sponsorship availability directly during the hiring process, as it can vary by role level and location.
Which visa types are commonly used for Supply Chain roles at Cardinal Health?
Cardinal Health supports several visa categories for Supply Chain professionals, including H-1B for degree-holding specialty occupation workers, F-1 OPT and CPT for students currently enrolled or recently graduated, and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations. For longer-term pathways, the company also facilitates EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process with the DOL.
What qualifications and experience are expected for Supply Chain roles at Cardinal Health?
Most mid-level Supply Chain roles at Cardinal Health expect a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, engineering, or a related field, plus hands-on experience with ERP platforms like SAP or Oracle. Familiarity with healthcare distribution, pharmaceutical logistics, or FDA-regulated environments is a strong differentiator. Senior roles often require demonstrated expertise in demand planning, supplier negotiations, or distribution network optimization.
How do I apply for Supply Chain jobs at Cardinal Health?
You can search and apply for Supply Chain roles directly through Cardinal Health's careers portal, filtering by function and location. For a faster way to identify which openings include visa sponsorship, browse Migrate Mate's curated listings for Cardinal Health Supply Chain jobs, where sponsorship details are surfaced upfront. Apply with a resume tailored to healthcare distribution and be prepared for a multi-round interview process including technical and behavioral rounds.
How do I time my H-1B filing if I receive a Supply Chain offer from Cardinal Health?
USCIS opens H-1B registration in March each year for the cap lottery, with an October 1 start date if selected. If you're on OPT when you receive your offer, your employer can file a cap-gap extension request to bridge your status between OPT expiration and H-1B activation. Aligning your offer timeline with the March registration window and confirming your employer's readiness to file by April avoids gaps in work authorization.
