Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Supply Chain Jobs at HP Jobs
Align your experience with HP's supply chain scope
HP's Supply Chain roles center on hardware components, contract manufacturing partners, and global logistics networks. Frame your resume around supplier negotiations, demand forecasting, or factory ramp experience rather than generic operations work.
Research HP's active Supply Chain openings on Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to browse HP's current Supply Chain positions filtered by visa sponsorship. It surfaces roles where HP has confirmed sponsorship history, saving you the guesswork of cold applications to postings that won't support your visa.
Prepare a portfolio of cross-functional project examples
HP Supply Chain interviewers consistently probe for cross-functional collaboration, particularly with engineering and procurement. Prepare specific examples of how you've coordinated between product teams and external vendors to resolve supply constraints or reduce lead times.
Confirm LCA certification is in your offer timeline
Before your start date is finalized, confirm your employer has initiated the Labor Condition Application with the DOL. LCA certification is required before USCIS can process your H-1B or E-3 petition, and delays here directly push back your employment start.
Address degree field alignment during credential review
Supply Chain roles at HP typically require degrees in engineering, operations research, business, or supply chain management. If your degree is in a tangential field, gather documentation showing coursework or certifications in supply chain to support the specialty occupation determination.

Find Supply Chain at HP JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does HP sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chain roles?
Yes, HP sponsors H-1B visas for Supply Chain positions. These roles typically qualify as specialty occupations requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as supply chain management, engineering, or business. HP's global hardware and electronics operations create consistent demand for sponsored professionals in procurement, logistics, and demand planning functions.
How do I apply for Supply Chain jobs at HP?
Apply directly through HP's careers portal and filter for Supply Chain roles in your target location. Before applying, use Migrate Mate to identify which open positions align with HP's sponsorship history for your visa type. Tailor your application to highlight experience in areas HP prioritizes, such as supplier management, inventory optimization, or global logistics coordination in an electronics or hardware context.
Which visa types does HP commonly use for Supply Chain hires?
HP sponsors H-1B visas for most international Supply Chain hires, along with E-3 visas for Australian citizens and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for longer-term employees. The right visa depends on your nationality, degree, and the specific role level. E-3 is worth prioritizing if you're Australian, since it has no lottery and a separate annual allocation.
What qualifications does HP expect for sponsored Supply Chain roles?
Most Supply Chain roles at HP require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering, operations research, or a related technical field. For H-1B specialty occupation status, your degree field needs to directly relate to the role. Practical experience with ERP systems, supplier sourcing, or demand planning in electronics or hardware manufacturing strengthens both your application and the sponsorship case.
How do I understand the visa filing timeline for an HP Supply Chain offer?
For H-1B roles, HP must file your petition during the annual cap period with an October 1 start date, meaning offers for cap-subject H-1Bs typically come in the January through March window before the April lottery. E-3 petitions have no annual cap and can be filed year-round. Once USCIS approves the petition, your start date is set. Confirming these milestones with your HP recruiter early avoids surprises.
