Align your resume to LCA-eligible titles
Jobot files Labor Condition Applications through the DOL before any H-1B petition moves forward. Structure your resume around titles like Supply Chain Analyst or Procurement Specialist that map cleanly to prevailing wage categories, so there's no ambiguity in the LCA filing.
Clarify whether the role is direct hire
Jobot operates as a staffing firm, so some placements are contract-to-hire through a client company. Ask upfront whether the end client, not Jobot, will be the petitioning employer on your visa, since that changes the sponsorship timeline and who controls the process.
Target roles that match your specific Supply Chain credentials
Jobot's Supply Chain openings span procurement, demand planning, and warehouse operations. Recruiters match candidates faster when your background is tightly focused, so apply to roles where your degree field directly supports the specialty occupation requirement USCIS uses to evaluate H-1B eligibility.
Confirm F-1 OPT cap-gap coverage before accepting an offer
If you're on F-1 OPT when Jobot submits your H-1B registration in March, your OPT may expire before October 1. Verify with your DSO that your cap-gap extension will bridge that gap so you can keep working without interruption during USCIS processing.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Jobot's open Supply Chain roles
Jobot posts a large volume of Supply Chain positions at any given time. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for visa-sponsoring Supply Chain roles at Jobot, so you're applying to openings where sponsorship is already confirmed rather than discovering eligibility mid-process.
Verify TN eligibility before your interview if you're Canadian or Mexican
TN status is employer-specific and job-description-specific. If Jobot is placing you through a client, make sure the actual job duties match an approved TN category like Purchasing Manager or Industrial Engineer before the offer stage, since the client's job description will be scrutinized at the border.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Jobot sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chains?
Yes, Jobot has sponsored H-1B visas for Supply Chain roles. Because Jobot is a staffing firm, sponsorship arrangements can vary: in some placements, Jobot acts as the petitioning employer, while in others the end client takes on that role. Clarifying this early in your conversation with a Jobot recruiter will help you understand exactly who files the petition and manages the process.
How do I apply for Supply Chain jobs at Jobot?
You can apply directly through Jobot's website or through Migrate Mate, which filters Supply Chain roles at Jobot specifically for visa-sponsoring positions. When you apply, tailor your resume to the specific Supply Chain function in the posting, whether that's procurement, logistics, or demand planning, and be upfront with the recruiter about your visa status so sponsorship can be confirmed before the process moves forward.
Which visa types are commonly used for Supply Chain roles at Jobot?
Jobot has sponsored H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for Supply Chain candidates. H-1B is the most structured path for long-term employment. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates entering procurement or logistics analyst roles. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals whose Supply Chain duties map to a qualifying USMCA profession, such as Management Consultant or Industrial Engineer.
What qualifications does Jobot expect for Supply Chain roles with sponsorship?
Most Supply Chain roles Jobot fills with H-1B sponsorship require at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, industrial engineering, or operations research. USCIS requires that the degree directly relate to the job duties to meet the specialty occupation standard. Roles in demand planning or procurement analytics often also expect proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
How do I time my application around the H-1B cap for a Jobot Supply Chain role?
USCIS opens H-1B registrations each March for a start date of October 1. If you're targeting a Jobot Supply Chain role that requires H-1B sponsorship, aim to have an offer in place by February so Jobot or the client employer can register you in the lottery on time. If you're selected, USCIS typically issues a decision within several months of the April filing window opening.
