Align your credentials to manufacturing supply chains
Schneider Electric's Supply Chain roles sit inside a manufacturing environment, so credentials in industrial operations, APICS certifications like CPIM or CSCP, or experience with physical goods flow carry more weight than general business supply chain backgrounds.
Target roles that match your degree field
H-1B specialty occupation approval depends on a direct link between your degree and the role. Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Operations Research degrees map cleanly. A business administration degree alone can draw scrutiny, so be ready to document field-specific coursework.
Search open Supply Chain roles through Migrate Mate
Schneider Electric posts Supply Chain openings across multiple locations and functions. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for roles at Schneider Electric that include visa sponsorship, so you're not sifting through listings that won't support your immigration status.
Understand the LCA before your offer stage
Before Schneider Electric files your H-1B petition, it must certify a Labor Condition Application with the DOL confirming your offered wage meets the prevailing wage for your location and role. Knowing this process helps you ask informed questions during negotiation and avoids surprises.
Clarify E-3 availability early if you are Australian
Australian citizens can ask Schneider Electric to sponsor an E-3 instead of waiting for the H-1B lottery. The E-3 has no annual cap and can be processed on a consular basis quickly. Raise it in the offer conversation before the company defaults to the H-1B path.
Time your application around the H-1B cap season
H-1B registrations open in March for an October 1 start date. If you're targeting a Supply Chain role at Schneider Electric and need cap-subject sponsorship, aim to have an offer in hand by February so the company can register you without rushing the process.

Does Schneider Electric sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chain roles?
Yes, Schneider Electric sponsors H-1B visas for Supply Chain positions. The company has a consistent pattern of filing H-1B petitions for roles in procurement, logistics, planning, and operations. Your role must qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field like Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a similar discipline.
Which visa types does Schneider Electric commonly use for Supply Chain positions?
Schneider Electric sponsors H-1B visas for the broadest range of Supply Chain roles. Australian citizens can pursue the E-3, which skips the lottery entirely. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, Schneider Electric has a track record of supporting EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways, typically after a period of employment, through the PERM labor certification process with the DOL.
What qualifications does Schneider Electric expect for Supply Chain roles?
Schneider Electric typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Operations, or a related field. For mid-to-senior roles, hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial environments carries significant weight. APICS certifications such as CPIM or CSCP strengthen your profile, particularly for planning and procurement-focused positions within the company's manufacturing operations.
How do I apply for Supply Chain jobs at Schneider Electric?
You can browse and apply for Supply Chain openings at Schneider Electric directly through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles where visa sponsorship is available. When applying, tailor your resume to highlight manufacturing supply chain experience and make your need for sponsorship clear upfront. Schneider Electric posts roles across multiple U.S. locations, so filtering by function and geography saves time.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship at Schneider Electric?
H-1B cap registrations open in March each year, with employment starting no earlier than October 1. To avoid missing the window, aim to secure an offer from Schneider Electric by late January or February. If you're already on OPT or a valid status, you may have more flexibility, but the lottery outcome is uncertain, so have a backup conversation with your recruiter about E-3 or other options early in the process.
