Align your credentials to Ryder's operational focus
Ryder's Supply Chain roles lean heavily on logistics network design, managed transportation, and warehousing operations. Frame your resume around outcomes in those areas specifically, not generic supply chain theory, before you apply.
Target roles that cross into consulting delivery
Ryder blends managed services with consulting engagements, so Supply Chain positions often sit at the intersection of client-facing work and operations. Roles with a solutions or strategy label tend to attract stronger sponsorship consideration than purely transactional ones.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before accepting an offer
As a federal contractor, Ryder participates in E-Verify, which is required to verify your work authorization at onboarding. Confirming this early avoids surprises and signals you understand the compliance process employers navigate with sponsored hires.
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Supply Chain roles by sponsorship type
Ryder posts Supply Chain openings across multiple locations and service lines. Use Migrate Mate to filter those roles by the visa category you need, so you're only spending time on positions where H-1B or Green Card sponsorship is already on the table.
Request H-1B filing timelines during offer negotiation
USCIS H-1B cap-subject petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. If your offer comes after January, clarify with the recruiter whether Ryder will file in the current cycle or ask you to wait for the next one.

Find Supply Chain at Ryder System JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Ryder System sponsor H-1B visas for Supply Chain roles?
Yes. Ryder System has an established history of sponsoring H-1B visas for Supply Chain professionals. Sponsorship is most common for roles requiring specialized expertise in logistics, network design, or managed transportation. Your best starting point is applying directly to open positions and confirming sponsorship eligibility with the recruiter during initial screening.
How do I apply for Supply Chain jobs at Ryder System?
You can browse and apply for Supply Chain positions at Ryder through Migrate Mate, which filters Ryder's open roles by visa sponsorship type so you only see positions relevant to your situation. From there, applications go through Ryder's standard hiring process, which typically includes a recruiter screen, technical or case interviews, and an offer stage where sponsorship terms are confirmed.
Which visa types does Ryder System commonly use for Supply Chain hires?
Ryder sponsors both H-1B nonimmigrant visas and employment-based Green Cards, primarily under the EB-2 and EB-3 categories, for Supply Chain roles. H-1B is the most common path for initial work authorization. Green Card sponsorship through PERM labor certification tends to follow after you've established yourself in the role and the employer confirms long-term fit.
What qualifications does Ryder System expect for sponsored Supply Chain positions?
Ryder's sponsored Supply Chain roles typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain management, industrial engineering, logistics, or a closely related field. Practical experience with transportation management systems, warehouse operations, or client-facing consulting delivery strengthens your profile. Roles with a solutions or strategy component often carry higher degree requirements, which directly supports the H-1B specialty occupation standard USCIS applies.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take when hired into a Supply Chain role at Ryder?
For H-1B sponsorship, the timeline depends on where you fall in the annual cap lottery and whether Ryder opts for USCIS premium processing, which guarantees a decision within 15 business days. If the standard track is used, adjudication can take several months. For Green Card sponsorship, the DOL PERM process alone typically takes six to twelve months before the USCIS petition stage begins.
