Frame your PMP credentials for manufacturing contexts
Schneider Electric evaluates Program Managers against industrial operations, not just project methodology. Highlight experience coordinating cross-functional teams in supply chain, energy systems, or production environments. Generic PMP framing won't differentiate you in a manufacturing-focused review.
Target roles tied to infrastructure or energy projects
Schneider Electric's open Program Manager roles cluster around grid modernization, data center buildouts, and industrial automation programs. Applying to positions aligned with these verticals puts you in front of hiring teams that regularly sponsor international candidates for this function.
Confirm your visa category matches the role level
Schneider Electric sponsors both H-1B and E-3 visas for Program Manager positions. Australians should verify the role qualifies as a specialty occupation before accepting an offer, since E-3 petitions are employer-filed and require a certified Labor Condition Application from DOL.
Raise sponsorship intent early in final-round conversations
Schneider Electric's talent acquisition teams handle high application volumes. Waiting until after an offer to surface sponsorship requirements can slow the process significantly. Confirm the specific hiring team has filed for this role category before you reach the offer stage.
Build your target list using verified sponsorship data
Search Migrate Mate to filter Program Manager openings at Schneider Electric by visa type. This lets you identify which specific divisions and locations are actively sponsoring rather than applying broadly across a large employer with uneven hiring patterns by region.
Prepare for PERM if pursuing a Green Card pathway
Schneider Electric sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for eligible Program Managers. The PERM labor certification process requires your employer to document that no qualified U.S. worker was available, so your role's job description and requirements must be consistent from offer through filing.

Find Program Manager at Schneider Electric JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Schneider Electric sponsor H-1B visas for Program Managers?
Yes, Schneider Electric sponsors H-1B visas for Program Manager roles. The company participates in the annual H-1B lottery, which runs each April for an October 1 start date, so timing your job search and offer acceptance around that window matters. Roles tied to energy management and industrial automation tend to have the clearest sponsorship history within this function.
Which visa types does Schneider Electric commonly sponsor for Program Managers?
Schneider Electric sponsors H-1B visas for most international Program Managers and E-3 visas for Australian citizens specifically. For candidates pursuing permanent residence, the company also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. The right visa type depends on your nationality, the role level, and how the position is classified under DOL's specialty occupation standards.
What qualifications does Schneider Electric expect for sponsored Program Manager roles?
Most Program Manager openings at Schneider Electric require a bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, or a related technical field, along with demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects in manufacturing, energy, or infrastructure environments. A PMP certification strengthens your application. For visa sponsorship purposes, USCIS requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, so the degree requirement must be specific to the position.
How do I apply for Program Manager jobs at Schneider Electric?
Applications go through Schneider Electric's careers portal, but filtering for roles that actively sponsor visas requires additional research. Migrate Mate lets you browse verified Program Manager openings at Schneider Electric filtered by visa type, so you can focus on positions where international candidates have a realistic path to sponsorship rather than applying broadly and discovering eligibility issues late in the process.
How do I plan my timeline around H-1B sponsorship at Schneider Electric?
The H-1B cap-subject filing window opens in early April, with employment starting October 1 at the earliest. To be included, you need an approved offer and a filed petition by late March. That means beginning your job search at Schneider Electric no later than the preceding autumn, and confirming sponsorship intent with the hiring team well before the lottery registration period opens.
