Target Ardurra's engineering and infrastructure teams
Ardurra staffs project-based consulting work in civil, structural, and environmental engineering. OPT students with degrees in these disciplines align most directly with open roles. Research which service lines have active project pipelines before applying to maximize your fit.
Confirm your STEM OPT eligibility before interviewing
If your degree qualifies for STEM OPT, verify Ardurra is enrolled in E-Verify before accepting an offer. E-Verify enrollment is required by USCIS for employers to support the 24-month STEM extension, giving you significantly more runway at the firm.
Align your resume with Ardurra's project delivery model
Ardurra's consulting work is deliverable-driven, so hiring managers look for candidates who can reference specific project contributions, not just coursework. Frame internship or capstone experience around outcomes and technical scope to signal you can contribute from day one.
Ask directly about the OPT-to-H-1B transition timeline
During offer negotiations, ask Ardurra's recruiter whether they have a track record of sponsoring H-1B for OPT employees. Because the H-1B cap registration window opens each March, your start date relative to that cycle affects how much runway you have before filing is necessary.
Use Migrate Mate to find Ardurra's H-1B filing history
Migrate Mate surfaces Ardurra's DOL Labor Condition Application data by occupation and location, so you can see which roles the firm has historically sponsored. Use that history to prioritize job titles where the H-1B transition path is already established rather than untested.
Benchmark your offer salary against prevailing wage data
Before signing, cross-check your offered salary against the OFLC Wage Search for your occupation and work location. Ardurra must pay at least the prevailing wage when it later files an H-1B on your behalf, so a salary already meeting that threshold removes a common offer renegotiation obstacle.
Ardurra OPT Eligibility: Frequently Asked Questions
Does Ardurra sponsor OPT visas?
Ardurra hires F-1 students who already hold an OPT EAD issued by USCIS. The firm does not file a petition for OPT itself since OPT authorization belongs to the student, not the employer. What matters is whether Ardurra is enrolled in E-Verify, which is required to support a STEM OPT extension if your degree qualifies.
Which roles at Ardurra typically hire OPT students?
Ardurra's strongest OPT hiring tends to fall within civil, structural, environmental, and geotechnical engineering teams, reflecting the firm's core consulting and infrastructure work. Roles with titles like project engineer, environmental scientist, and transportation planner align well with the types of degrees common among F-1 OPT candidates entering professional services.
How do I confirm Ardurra can support my STEM OPT extension?
Ask Ardurra's recruiting or HR team directly whether the company is enrolled in E-Verify. USCIS requires your employer to be an active E-Verify participant before you can apply for the 24-month STEM OPT extension. Confirming enrollment before you accept an offer prevents complications once your initial 12-month OPT period approaches its end.
How do I find OPT-eligible jobs at Ardurra?
Migrate Mate lists open roles at Ardurra filtered by visa type, including positions accessible to OPT students. You can also review Ardurra's historical H-1B Labor Condition Application filings through Migrate Mate to identify which job titles and office locations the firm has sponsored most consistently, which helps you prioritize applications strategically.
Does working at Ardurra on OPT lead to H-1B sponsorship?
It can, but it depends on the specific team and business need at the time of the H-1B cap registration window in March. Ask during the interview process whether Ardurra has sponsored H-1B visas for employees who started on OPT. A consistent track record in your target service line is a stronger signal than a general company-wide policy.
How does Ardurra hire OPT students?
OPT is work authorization granted directly to F-1 students after graduation — no employer petition is required. Ardurra can hire OPT students as soon as their EAD card is approved. STEM degree holders can extend OPT by 24 months when their employer is enrolled in E-Verify. Most companies that hire OPT students also support the transition to H-1B when the student's OPT period is ending. Check Ardurra's individual postings on Migrate Mate to confirm OPT acceptance per role.
