INTRODUCTION
Valley View Hospital is currently seeking an experienced CVOR Certified Surgical Tech for a 13-week contract assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Title: CVOR Certified Surgical Tech (CST)
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO
Facility: Valley View Hospital
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 05/26/2026
Shift: Days | 4x10s/week
Rotating Call Schedule Required
Pay Rate: $50.00/hr
EMR: Meditech
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Active Colorado Surgical Tech License (DORA) Required
- Minimum 3 Years of Experience
- Strong CVOR CST Experience Required
- Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- CST Certification through NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT
- Current BLS Certification (AHA)
- Traveler must live at least 75 miles from the facility
Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons during CVOR procedures while maintaining sterile technique
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and surgical supplies
- Support patient safety, sterile field maintenance, and surgical counts
- Collaborate with surgical and Cath Lab teams to ensure efficient patient care
