Job Roles at Fisher Island Club Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Fisher Island Club Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles in guest services and recreation operations
Fisher Island Club's sponsorship activity is concentrated in the Sports & Recreation sector, meaning roles like attendants, instructors, and support staff are the most realistic targets for H-2B candidates. Focus your application on operational and guest-facing positions.
Understand the H-2B visa's seasonal structure before applying
Fisher Island Club sponsors workers through the H-2B program, which is tied to temporary or seasonal need. Familiarize yourself with how H-2B petitions work, including start date requirements and employer-driven timelines, before you reach out or apply.
Apply well ahead of the season you're targeting
H-2B sponsorship requires employers to file petitions months in advance of your intended start date. Fisher Island Club's hiring cycle follows a predictable seasonal rhythm, reaching out early gives you the best chance of being included in their next filing window.
Use Migrate Mate to confirm current sponsorship activity
Sponsorship patterns can shift year to year. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors with real filing history so you can confirm Fisher Island Club is actively sponsoring before investing time in your application. Filter by visa type to find H-2B-specific openings.
Emphasize hands-on hospitality or recreation experience
Fisher Island Club serves a high-end clientele and expects polished service standards. When applying, highlight any background in private clubs, resorts, or luxury hospitality, this is the experience most relevant to their sponsorship-eligible roles in Sports & Recreation.
Be prepared for a single-employer arrangement
H-2B visas are employer-specific, meaning your authorization to work is tied directly to Fisher Island Club. Understand that changing employers mid-season isn't straightforward under H-2B, commit fully when you accept a sponsored position with this employer.

Does Fisher Island Club sponsor H-1B visas?
No. Fisher Island Club's sponsorship activity is focused on the H-2B visa program, which is designed for temporary non-agricultural workers in seasonal roles. H-1B visas require specialty occupation positions that typically don't align with the guest services and recreation roles Fisher Island Club hires for. If you need H-1B sponsorship, you'll need to look at employers in different industries.
What visa types does Fisher Island Club sponsor?
Fisher Island Club sponsors workers through the H-2B visa program. This nonimmigrant visa is used by employers with temporary or peak-season staffing needs, making it a natural fit for a private club and recreation destination like Fisher Island. Green Card and H-1B sponsorship are not part of their hiring profile, so candidates should come in with realistic expectations about the visa pathway on offer.
What kinds of roles at Fisher Island Club are typically eligible for H-2B sponsorship?
Sponsored roles at Fisher Island Club are concentrated in the Sports & Recreation and hospitality sectors. Think positions in beach operations, tennis and water sports instruction, food and beverage service, housekeeping, and general club support. These are hands-on, guest-facing roles tied to the club's seasonal demand, not corporate or administrative positions. Candidates with backgrounds in luxury hospitality or private club service are the strongest fit.
How do I apply for a sponsored job at Fisher Island Club?
Start by identifying open roles and confirming that Fisher Island Club is actively sponsoring for the upcoming season. Because H-2B petitions are filed well before the work start date, timing matters, aim to connect with their hiring team several months ahead of when you'd want to begin. Migrate Mate lists verified H-2B sponsors like Fisher Island Club so you can track openings and apply through a platform built for visa-requiring candidates.
How do I know if Fisher Island Club is currently sponsoring visas?
Fisher Island Club has a consistent track record as an active H-2B sponsor, but sponsorship can vary by season depending on staffing needs and government H-2B cap availability. The most reliable approach is to check Migrate Mate, which aggregates verified sponsorship data so you can see whether Fisher Island Club has active or recent filings before you apply. This saves you from targeting employers who've paused sponsorship.
