(GPHA), a non-profit organization that was founded in 1970, is hiring Full-time Associate Health Center Administrator, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, at multiple locations:

- Chinatown Medical Services, 432 N. 6th St. Phila., PA 19123
- Frankford Ave Health Center, 4500 - 4510 Frankford Ave. Phila., PA 19124
- Hunting Park Health Center, 1999 W. Hunting Park Ave. Phila., PA 19140
- Southeast Health Center, 800 Washington Ave. Phila., PA 19147
- Woodland Ave Health Ave, 5000 Woodland Ave. Phila., PA 19143
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidates must obtain an Associate Degree with a major in business administration, hospital administration, public health, or equivalent of acceptable education and experience in a related field; minimum of two (2) years administrative or supervisory experience; experience in outpatient or ambulatory care setting; the ability to effectively organize and coordinate staff and resources; practical skills in reading, writing, speaking, schedule planning and implementation, with application and review of written policies; the ability to handle and resolve complex problems effectively and efficiently. Must be an energetic, creative individual able to adapt to ever-changing situations. Must work with site providers and other divisions collaboratively. The Associate HCA enhances the provision of medical services in the community health setting by fostering a sense of teamwork within the health center and by developing/implementing efficient systems in which all employees may realize their maximum productivity and the provision of quality patient services while demonstrating courtesy and respect and an understanding of cultural diversity and maintaining confidentiality regarding patient/client and employee information. Must be CPR certified.
The candidate will:
- Monitor, maintain, and expedite patient flow
- Assist in ensuring the regular inspection of the facility
- Coordinate the maintenance of established stock levels of supplies
- Coordinate staffing coverage
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all services and programs available on-site
- Conduct and assist in community health education and screening programs and marketing efforts within the service area of the health center
- Assist in conducting in-service training and staff meetings to instruct and update employees on new programs, policies, procedures and skills
- Receive, investigate and document patient complaints
- Maintain up-to-date, thorough working knowledge of corporate fiscal policies and procedures
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Assist in the implementation of quality control system
