Job Roles at CohnReznick
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in CohnReznick Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and specialized accounting roles
CohnReznick's Green Card sponsorship tends to concentrate in roles requiring deep technical expertise, such as audit, tax, and advisory positions. Applying for roles where your specialized credentials are hardest to fill locally strengthens your sponsorship case.
Raise Green Card intentions early and professionally
Bring up long-term sponsorship during later interview stages, not the first conversation. Framing it around your commitment to CohnReznick's growth signals retention value rather than a transactional ask, which matters to accounting firms investing in staff development.
Understand the PERM labor certification process
CohnReznick's Green Card process typically starts with PERM, where the employer must demonstrate no qualified U.S. worker is available. Understanding this stage helps you set realistic timeline expectations and prepare documentation that supports your employer-sponsored petition.
Build tenure before initiating the Green Card conversation
Firms in accounting and auditing typically initiate Green Card sponsorship after you've demonstrated performance and reliability. Focusing on delivering strong results in your first year positions you as a retention priority worth the firm's legal and financial investment.
Use verified sponsorship data to find open roles
Not every CohnReznick job listing will mention Green Card sponsorship explicitly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you identify which CohnReznick openings are realistically accessible for permanent residency seekers.
Align your EB category with your qualifications
CohnReznick may sponsor under EB-2 or EB-3 depending on the role's requirements and your credentials. Professionals with advanced degrees or specialized experience may qualify for EB-2, which can offer a faster path depending on your country of chargeability.

Does CohnReznick sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, CohnReznick sponsors Green Card visas for eligible employees. The firm operates in a field that relies on specialized professional credentials, and it has a track record of supporting permanent residency for staff in accounting, audit, tax, and advisory functions who demonstrate long-term commitment to the organization.
Which roles and departments at CohnReznick are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at CohnReznick is most common in technical roles within audit, tax, and advisory practices. Positions requiring CPA credentials, niche industry expertise, or specialized knowledge in areas like transaction advisory or government contracting tend to be strong candidates, as they're harder to fill with local talent alone.
How does the Green Card application process work at CohnReznick?
CohnReznick typically initiates the Green Card process through employer-sponsored pathways, starting with PERM labor certification filed with the Department of Labor. Once certified, the firm files an immigrant petition with USCIS. CohnReznick's legal team or an outside immigration counsel generally manages the process, but you'll need to provide documentation supporting your qualifications.
How long does the Green Card process take at CohnReznick?
The timeline depends on your visa category and country of birth. The PERM and petition stages alone can take over a year before you even reach the visa queue. For applicants from India or China, priority date backlogs can extend the overall process significantly beyond the initial filing period, so starting early matters.
How do I find CohnReznick Green Card jobs and improve my chances of being sponsored?
Search for CohnReznick openings on Migrate Mate, which filters roles by verified sponsorship history so you're not applying blind. Once you identify a target role, focus on demonstrating specialized expertise that aligns with a hard-to-fill need. Firms in accounting sponsor Green Cards most readily when they see a clear retention and business case for the specific hire.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at CohnReznick?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
