Job Roles at Dexcom
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Dexcom Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target technical and engineering roles
Dexcom's Green Card sponsorship is concentrated in software engineering, hardware development, and systems engineering. These roles align with the specialty occupation requirements for EB-2 and EB-3 filings, making them the strongest entry points for permanent residency sponsorship.
Understand the PERM labor certification process
Green Card sponsorship at Dexcom begins with PERM, where the Department of Labor certifies no qualified U.S. worker is available. Expect this stage alone to take a year or more before your I-140 petition can be filed.
Ask about sponsorship during the offer stage
Dexcom recruiters are familiar with Green Card questions. Raising sponsorship directly during the offer negotiation, rather than after you've started, sets clear expectations and helps you confirm the role is eligible before you accept.
Look for roles in regulatory and clinical operations
Beyond engineering, Dexcom's medical device focus creates demand in regulatory affairs and clinical operations. These specialized roles often meet EB-2 criteria, particularly when advanced degrees or exceptional expertise in diabetes technology are required.
Use Migrate Mate to identify verified openings
Not every job listing signals genuine sponsorship willingness. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus your Dexcom job search on roles where Green Card support is confirmed.
Build tenure before your priority date becomes current
Green Card timelines at Dexcom can span several years depending on your country of birth. Demonstrating consistent performance and growth within the company strengthens your case and reduces the risk of sponsorship being withdrawn before your case completes.

Does Dexcom sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, Dexcom sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The company has an established sponsorship program with a consistent filing history, particularly for technical and specialized roles across engineering, software development, and regulatory functions within its medical device operations.
Which roles and departments at Dexcom typically receive Green Card sponsorship?
Green Card sponsorship at Dexcom is most common in software engineering, hardware and systems engineering, regulatory affairs, and clinical operations. These roles typically meet the specialty occupation and advanced degree requirements for EB-2 or EB-3 classifications. Corporate and generalist roles are sponsored less frequently.
How does the Green Card application process work at Dexcom?
Dexcom typically works with outside immigration counsel to manage the process. It starts with PERM labor certification through the Department of Labor, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition filed with USCIS. Once the I-140 is approved and a visa number is available, you file for adjustment of status or go through consular processing.
How long does the Green Card process take at Dexcom?
The timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and visa category. For most nationalities, the full process from PERM to Green Card approval takes two to four years. For applicants born in India or China, visa backlogs can extend the wait significantly longer due to annual per-country limits on immigrant visa numbers.
How do I improve my chances of getting Green Card sponsorship at Dexcom?
Focus your search on technical and regulatory roles where Dexcom has a clear sponsorship pattern. Confirm sponsorship willingness before accepting an offer. Migrate Mate can help you identify Dexcom roles with verified sponsorship history, so you're applying to positions where Green Card support is realistic rather than assuming it will be offered.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at Dexcom?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
