Job Roles at Edwards Lifesciences Companies
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in Edwards Lifesciences Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles in engineering and clinical functions
Edwards Lifesciences sponsors visas most actively for technical and clinical roles, think biomedical engineers, regulatory affairs specialists, and clinical research associates. Focusing your search on these functions gives you the strongest chance of finding a sponsorship-eligible opening.
Understand that Green Card sponsorship is a real pathway here
Edwards Lifesciences has a strong track record of sponsoring employees for permanent residence, not just temporary work visas. If long-term U.S. residency is your goal, ask about Green Card sponsorship timelines during the interview process.
Highlight specialized medical devices knowledge in your application
Edwards Lifesciences operates in a highly specialized corner of medtech, cardiovascular devices and critical care monitoring. Candidates who can connect their background to these specific domains are far more competitive for sponsored roles than general biotech or device applicants.
Apply early in the calendar year if you need H-1B sponsorship
H-1B petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date. If you're on OPT and targeting Edwards Lifesciences, start your job search by January so you have enough time to secure an offer and complete onboarding before the filing deadline.
Use a platform that shows real sponsorship history before you apply
Not every medical devices company sponsors visas at the same rate. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and confirm Edwards Lifesciences has sponsored your specific visa type before investing time in the application.
If you're on F-1 OPT or CPT, flag your work authorization status upfront
Edwards Lifesciences has sponsored both OPT and CPT candidates, which means internship and new-grad roles may be on the table. Being transparent about your authorization status early helps recruiters route you to teams with active sponsorship budgets.

Does Edwards Lifesciences sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Edwards Lifesciences sponsors H-1B visas. The company has a consistent history of H-1B filings, particularly for roles in engineering, regulatory affairs, and clinical research. If you're on F-1 OPT and approaching the end of your work authorization window, securing an offer before the April H-1B filing deadline is critical.
What visa types does Edwards Lifesciences sponsor?
Edwards Lifesciences sponsors H-1B and TN visas for temporary work authorization, and supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for employees pursuing permanent residence. The company also works with F-1 students through both OPT and CPT programs, making it accessible to candidates at multiple stages of their immigration journey.
Which departments or roles at Edwards Lifesciences are most likely to offer visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Edwards Lifesciences is most common in technically specialized roles, biomedical and mechanical engineering, clinical science, quality and regulatory affairs, and R&D functions tied to cardiovascular and critical care product lines. Corporate functions like finance and IT may also sponsor, but technical and clinical roles represent the clearest pathway for international candidates.
How do I find visa-sponsored jobs at Edwards Lifesciences?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find Edwards Lifesciences roles that come with verified sponsorship history. Rather than guessing which postings are open to international candidates, you can filter by company and visa type to surface only the roles where sponsorship is genuinely on the table. This saves time and removes a major source of uncertainty in the job search.
How do I improve my chances of getting sponsored by Edwards Lifesciences?
The strongest applicants align their background directly with Edwards Lifesciences's core focus areas: structural heart disease, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care. Demonstrating domain-specific knowledge, whether through prior medtech experience, relevant research, or regulatory expertise, signals that you bring specialized value the company can't easily hire locally, which is ultimately what drives sponsorship decisions.
