Target engineering and R&D roles first
Masimo's core business is hardware and software for patient monitoring, so roles in electrical engineering, software development, and biomedical research are where the company's sponsorship activity is most concentrated. Build your application around those departments.
Understand which visa types Masimo supports
Masimo sponsors H-1B visas for specialty occupation roles and pursues Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 pathways. If you're on F-1 OPT or hold TN status, both are also in scope, giving you multiple entry points to explore.
Align your degree to the role's technical requirements
Medical device companies like Masimo require candidates whose academic background directly matches the job. A degree in a relevant engineering or life sciences field strengthens your H-1B specialty occupation case and reduces friction in the sponsorship process.
Search for open roles with confirmed sponsorship history
Not every job posting at Masimo flags sponsorship availability. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you prioritize applications at companies like Masimo that have an established track record.
Ask about Green Card timelines during the interview process
Masimo's Green Card sponsorship activity signals long-term commitment to international employees. When you reach the offer stage, it's reasonable to ask whether the role typically supports permanent residency sponsorship and what that timeline looks like in practice.
Apply well before OPT or status expiration deadlines
Medical device companies run structured hiring cycles. If you're on F-1 OPT, start targeting Masimo roles at least six months before your work authorization expires to leave enough runway for H-1B filing and any administrative processing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Masimo sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Masimo sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying specialty occupation roles, particularly in engineering, software development, and technical functions tied to its patient monitoring products. The company has a consistent history of H-1B filings, so it's a credible target if you're seeking employer sponsorship in the medical device industry.
What types of visas does Masimo sponsor?
Masimo sponsors H-1B visas for specialty occupation workers and supports permanent residency through EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways. The company also works with candidates on F-1 OPT and TN visa status, giving international applicants from Canada and Mexico an additional route into the company.
Which departments or roles at Masimo are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Masimo is most common in technical and scientific roles, including electrical engineering, embedded software, biomedical engineering, hardware design, and regulatory affairs. These functions sit at the core of Masimo's product development and are the areas where the company most actively hires international candidates.
How do I find open jobs at Masimo that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for employers with verified visa sponsorship histories, including Masimo. Rather than sifting through generic job postings that don't mention sponsorship, you can filter by company and visa type to surface roles where sponsorship is a realistic outcome based on actual filing data.
How do I approach the application process at Masimo as an international candidate?
Lead with your technical qualifications and make sure your resume reflects the specific engineering or scientific discipline the role requires. Masimo operates in a heavily regulated industry, so any experience with FDA-compliant development, quality systems, or medical device standards will strengthen your candidacy. Raise visa sponsorship early in the recruiter conversation to confirm the role is eligible before investing significant time in the process.
