Target roles that align with Green Card sponsorship
JND's sponsorship activity leans heavily toward permanent residency rather than temporary work visas. Focus your applications on roles where long-term retention matters, engineering, regulatory affairs, and clinical operations are strong bets in medical devices.
Highlight specialized medical device credentials
JND operates in a highly regulated industry where niche expertise matters. Credentials in FDA regulatory compliance, quality systems, or device engineering make you a stronger candidate and a more compelling case for employer-sponsored immigration support.
Understand the EB-2 and EB-3 distinction before applying
JND sponsors both EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories. Knowing which applies to your education and experience level before your interview signals preparation and helps you have an informed conversation about the sponsorship process with the hiring team.
Ask about sponsorship early, but frame it professionally
Medical devices companies like JND factor immigration costs into hiring decisions. Raise sponsorship during the offer stage, not the first interview. Frame it as confirming a process you understand, not a request you're making for the first time.
Use Migrate Mate to find verified JND openings
Not every job listing discloses sponsorship eligibility upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find JND roles confirmed to support international candidates, saving time on unqualified applications.
If you're on F-1 OPT, apply early in JND's hiring cycle
JND sponsors F-1 OPT candidates, but OPT timelines are tight. Applying early gives JND time to assess your role before your work authorization window closes, and positions you for H-1B sponsorship if a long-term fit is established.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does JND sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, JND sponsors H-1B visas. The company's overall sponsorship activity is more heavily concentrated in permanent residency pathways, EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards, but H-1B sponsorship is part of its immigration support for qualifying roles, particularly in technical and specialized positions within the medical devices industry.
What visa types does JND sponsor?
JND sponsors a range of visa types including H-1B, TN visa, F-1 OPT, and F-1 CPT for work authorization, as well as EB-2 and EB-3 for permanent residency. The company's Green Card sponsorship activity is notably strong relative to its overall filing volume, suggesting a preference for long-term immigration support over short-term arrangements.
Which departments or roles at JND are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
In the medical devices sector, sponsorship tends to concentrate in technically demanding roles where specialized expertise is difficult to source domestically. At JND, this typically includes positions in engineering, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and clinical or scientific operations. Roles requiring specific device knowledge or advanced degrees are strongest candidates for both H-1B and Green Card support.
How do I find open jobs at JND that offer visa sponsorship?
The most reliable approach is to search on Migrate Mate, which aggregates jobs from verified sponsoring employers and lets you filter by company, visa type, and sponsorship history. This removes the guesswork of whether a listing will support international candidates, JND's confirmed sponsorship track record is already factored in, so you can apply with confidence.
How do I approach the sponsorship conversation when interviewing at JND?
Raise visa sponsorship during the offer negotiation phase rather than early interviews. Come prepared with a clear understanding of your current status, whether you're on OPT, H-1B, or TN, and what the next step requires. In the medical devices industry, employers like JND are familiar with immigration processes, so a direct and informed conversation is generally well received.
