Target roles where Dexcom sponsors most actively
Engineering, data science, and regulatory affairs roles in medical devices tend to drive the most visa sponsorship activity at Dexcom. Focus your applications on technical and clinical functions where international talent demand is consistently high.
Understand which visa types Dexcom supports
Dexcom sponsors H-1B, TN, J-1, and F-1 OPT and CPT, as well as Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3. Knowing which category fits your background before you apply helps you have a more focused conversation with their recruiting team.
Leverage your OPT or CPT window strategically
If you're on F-1 status, Dexcom's willingness to sponsor OPT and CPT makes it a strong early-career target. Use that initial employment period to demonstrate value and position yourself for H-1B sponsorship ahead of the next lottery cycle.
Align your background with Dexcom's core product mission
Dexcom focuses on continuous glucose monitoring for diabetes management. Candidates who can connect their engineering, software, or clinical research background to patient outcomes and FDA-regulated product development will stand out in the hiring process.
Search for verified sponsorship-friendly roles before applying
Not every open role at Dexcom will include sponsorship details upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and identify which Dexcom positions are realistically open to international candidates.
Be prepared for a structured hiring process in a regulated industry
Medical device companies like Dexcom operate under strict regulatory environments, which means hiring timelines can be longer than in other sectors. Build in extra lead time if your visa status has an expiration date or an upcoming OPT deadline.

For permanent residency, the company supports Green Card pathways through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based categories. This range makes Dexcom a viable sponsor across multiple stages of an international candidate's career.
Which departments or roles at Dexcom are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Dexcom tends to be concentrated in technical functions, software engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, data science, and regulatory affairs are the areas most commonly associated with international hiring in the medical devices industry. Clinical research and quality assurance roles can also be strong sponsorship candidates given Dexcom's FDA-regulated product pipeline.
How do I find open jobs at Dexcom that offer visa sponsorship?
The most reliable way is to use Migrate Mate, which surfaces verified sponsoring employers and lets you filter by company and visa type. This helps you identify which Dexcom roles are realistically open to international candidates, rather than applying broadly and discovering sponsorship limitations late in the process.
How do I approach the Dexcom application process as an international candidate?
Be upfront about your visa status early in the process, Dexcom's recruiting team is experienced with sponsorship, so transparency helps rather than hurts. Tailor your resume to emphasize technical depth relevant to medical device development, and expect a multi-stage interview process. If you're on OPT with a looming end date, communicate your timeline clearly so the team can align sponsorship planning accordingly.
