Meet the team:
Intermediate warehousing position that is expected to complete all tasks under general supervision. Material Handler 3 performs a variety of warehouse functions including but not limited to receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control. Position is responsible for completing the physical and systematic movement of material in accordance with all safety, cGMP, and quality procedures. Position is expected to transact all material timely and compile and maintain all required documents for material movement as per quality procedures. This position may work with raw materials, dangerous goods, WIP materials, finished goods, returned goods, R&D materials, etc.
Work Schedule: Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime, Hours and shifts are subject to change.
Shift: 2A Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday 5:00pm-5:00am
Location: (RDC) 8046 E Ray Rd Mesa, AZ
Where You Come In:
- You complete all warehousing activities, including receiving, shipping, manufacturing support, and inventory control, in compliance with Safety, cGMP, and Quality Standard Operating Procedures.
- You perform all duties like a Material Handler 2.
- You demonstrate broad working knowledge of Oracle ERP and HighJump WMS systems.
- You perform intermediate Microsoft Excel functions, including creating tables and sorting or filtering data.
- You coordinate inbound and outbound freight activities.
- You support international shipping operations as needed.
- You are cross-trained in multiple warehouse functions, including receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
- You collaborate with supervisors to assist in implementing process improvement initiatives.
- You assist in leading daily team meetings to review team performance and workload priorities.
- You provide hands-on training to new hires and temporary employees on warehouse operations.
- You help assign daily tasks to team members based on priorities established by leadership.
- You create and run basic reports to support performance metrics tracking.
- You investigate and resolve basic internal customer requests in a timely manner.
- You utilize material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, stand-up reach trucks, sit-down reach trucks, turret trucks, electric rider jacks, and box trucks to load, unload, and transport materials between areas.
- You obtain and maintain certification on multiple types of material handling equipment, as required.
- You perform transactions in ERP/WMS systems, including shipping, cycle counts, material receipts, and shipments.
- You investigate and resolve shipping and receiving issues using ERP/WMS systems.
What Makes You Successful:
- You have 4+ years of experience in a material handling or warehouse role.
- You bring at least 1 year of experience using Oracle/WMS systems, or 2 years of experience completing transactions in another ERP/WMS system.
- You have a minimum of 1 year of experience operating electric-powered material handling equipment.
- You possess basic computer and data entry skills.
- You are familiar with Microsoft Office applications at a basic level.
- You are able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
- You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- You apply strong mathematical and problem-solving skills to support daily warehouse operations.
