Target engineering and R&D roles first
Globus Medical's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical functions, biomedical, mechanical, and software engineering. These roles align with the specialty occupation standard required for H-1B approval, making them the strongest entry point for visa-dependent candidates.
Understand the full visa pathway, not just H-1B
Globus Medical sponsors both temporary work visas and Green Card petitions. If long-term U.S. residence is your goal, ask recruiters early whether your role is on a defined EB-2 or EB-3 track, some positions are structured with permanent residency in mind.
Align your degree field with the job description precisely
Medical device companies face strict USCIS scrutiny on specialty occupation eligibility. Make sure your degree field directly matches the role, a biomedical engineering degree for a device development role carries far more weight than a general engineering background.
Research which Globus Medical sites are actively hiring sponsored roles
Globus Medical operates multiple U.S. facilities. Sponsorship activity tends to cluster at headquarters and major R&D sites. Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring roles by location so you're targeting offices with a real hiring history for visa-dependent candidates.
Prepare for a structured interview process in medical devices
Globus Medical's hiring process for technical roles typically involves multiple rounds, including functional and cross-functional assessments. Sponsored candidates should be ready to demonstrate regulatory awareness, FDA familiarity and quality system experience are valued in this industry.
Flag your visa situation early in the process
As an active sponsor in the medical devices sector, Globus Medical has established workflows for immigration support. Raising your sponsorship needs with the recruiter in the first conversation avoids late-stage surprises and helps both sides assess timeline fit from the start.

The company also supports Green Card sponsorship through the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based preference categories, making it a viable long-term option for candidates pursuing permanent residence in the U.S.
Which departments or roles at Globus Medical are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Engineering, product development, regulatory affairs, and clinical science roles are the most common sponsorship candidates at Globus Medical. These functions map directly to the specialty occupation criteria that USCIS evaluates for H-1B petitions. Commercial and operations roles may also be sponsored, though less frequently, depending on the specific position and required qualifications.
How do I find open visa-sponsored roles at Globus Medical?
Migrate Mate lists verified visa-sponsoring employers including Globus Medical, and lets you filter by company, visa type, and role to find positions that match your profile. Lead with technical depth and regulatory awareness.
