Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Support Associate Jobs at Globus Medical Jobs
Align your credentials to clinical support standards
Globus Medical's Support Associate roles often require familiarity with surgical or orthopedic device workflows. Before applying, document any hands-on experience with medical devices, hospital environments, or regulated product support to strengthen your petition's specialty occupation case.
Target roles across Globus Medical's regional offices
Globus Medical hires Support Associates across multiple U.S. locations tied to surgical facilities and distribution centers. Applying to multiple regional postings increases your exposure to hiring teams and diversifies the timelines on which an offer and sponsorship conversation might open.
Clarify OPT and CPT eligibility with your DSO early
If you're on an F-1 visa, confirm with your Designated School Official that your Support Associate role qualifies as directly related to your field of study before accepting an offer. Misaligned CPT authorization can jeopardize your status before an H-1B petition is even filed.
Ask about LCA filing timing during offer negotiation
Your employer must file a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can receive your H-1B petition. Ask your recruiter which stage of that process Globus Medical initiates after offer acceptance so you can plan your start date around realistic processing windows.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Support Associate roles
Globus Medical posts Support Associate openings across functions and regions. Use Migrate Mate to filter and track open roles verified for visa sponsorship so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is confirmed, not just assumed from general company reputation.
Prepare for TN eligibility review if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
TN status is available at the port of entry without a lottery and moves significantly faster than H-1B processing. Verify your Support Associate role maps to a qualifying TN occupation category under the USMCA before your interview so you're ready to raise this option with HR.

Find Support Associate at Globus Medical JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Globus Medical sponsor H-1B visas for Support Associates?
Yes, Globus Medical sponsors H-1B visas for Support Associate roles. The company operates in a regulated medical devices environment where specialized product and clinical knowledge can support a specialty occupation classification. Your employer files Form I-129 with USCIS after the H-1B lottery selection, and you'll need a certified Labor Condition Application from the DOL before that filing can proceed.
Which visa types are commonly used for Support Associate roles at Globus Medical?
H-1B is the most common pathway for degreed candidates, but Globus Medical also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students in relevant fields, TN status for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying occupations, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for longer-term hires. J-1 is less common but appears in the company's filing history. The right visa depends on your citizenship, degree field, and the specific role.
How do I apply for Support Associate jobs at Globus Medical?
Applications go through Globus Medical's careers portal, where Support Associate openings are listed by location and function. To find roles that are confirmed for visa sponsorship, browse Migrate Mate, which filters Globus Medical's open positions specifically for international candidates. Tailor your application to highlight any experience with surgical devices, hospital operations, or regulated customer support environments, since those details directly inform how HR evaluates sponsorship feasibility.
What qualifications does Globus Medical expect for sponsored Support Associate roles?
Most sponsored Support Associate positions at Globus Medical expect a bachelor's degree in a life sciences, engineering, or business-related field, combined with customer-facing or technical support experience. Familiarity with surgical or orthopedic product environments is a practical differentiator. For H-1B purposes, your degree must align closely enough with the role's duties to meet USCIS's specialty occupation standard, so generic degrees without field-specific coursework can complicate petitions.
How do I plan my timeline around Globus Medical's sponsorship process?
If you're targeting an H-1B, the annual lottery registration opens in March for an October 1 start date, so you need an offer and a filed registration before that window closes. F-1 OPT gives you up to 12 months of work authorization after graduation, with a 24-month STEM extension available in qualifying cases. TN status can be obtained at the border without a lottery and is faster for eligible nationals. Build your job search timeline backward from these deadlines to avoid gaps in authorization.
