Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Sales Support Specialist Jobs at Globus Medical Jobs
Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
H-1B eligibility for Sales Support roles requires demonstrating the position demands a specific bachelor's degree, not just any degree. Frame your engineering, life sciences, or kinesiology background as directly tied to Globus Medical's orthopedic and spine device portfolio during applications.
Target Globus Medical's field-based sales territories
Globus Medical staffs Sales Support Specialists regionally to cover surgical accounts. Searching by territory rather than headquarters gives you a clearer picture of where active openings align with your location and visa filing timeline, especially critical for OPT and CPT deadlines.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Globus Medical openings by visa type
Migrate Mate lets you filter Sales Support Specialist postings at Globus Medical by the visa categories the company sponsors, so you can confirm which roles are actively open to H-1B, TN, or OPT candidates before investing time in the application process.
Confirm LCA filing before accepting an offer
Before your start date, verify that your employer has filed a certified Labor Condition Application with the DOL. For Sales Support roles, the prevailing wage determination often ties to the specific metropolitan service area where you'll cover surgical accounts, not just company headquarters.
Prepare device-specific documentation for your visa petition
USCIS scrutinizes whether Sales Support Specialist duties genuinely require a specialized degree. Collect product training certifications, surgical protocol documentation, and any clinical education records that demonstrate your role involves specialized orthopedic or spine device knowledge beyond general sales coordination.
Plan around the H-1B cap timeline if you're on OPT
If you're working at Globus Medical on F-1 OPT, your employer must file your H-1B petition by April 1 for an October 1 start. STEM OPT extensions give you up to three additional years, but cap-gap protection only applies if the petition is filed while your OPT remains valid.

Does Globus Medical sponsor H-1B visas for Sales Support Specialists?
Yes, Globus Medical sponsors H-1B visas for Sales Support Specialists. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation when tied to a degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or a related field, given the clinical and technical demands of supporting orthopedic and spine device accounts. Your degree field and how it maps to the specific role duties will be a key factor in the petition.
How do I apply for Sales Support Specialist jobs at Globus Medical?
Applications go through Globus Medical's careers portal, where openings are listed by region and business unit. Migrate Mate is a practical starting point if you want to filter specifically for Sales Support Specialist roles at Globus Medical that are open to visa sponsorship, helping you prioritize where to apply before going directly to the company's site to submit.
Which visa types does Globus Medical commonly use for Sales Support Specialists?
Globus Medical sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for qualifying employees. H-1B is the most common route for full-time permanent hires, while OPT and CPT are typical entry points for recent graduates. TN is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories.
What qualifications does Globus Medical expect for a Sales Support Specialist role?
Most Sales Support Specialist openings at Globus Medical call for a bachelor's degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, kinesiology, or a closely related field. Hands-on exposure to surgical environments, orthopedic or spine device products, or clinical coordination is valued. Strong regional mobility matters too, as these roles are territory-based and require regular presence in hospital and surgical settings.
How do I manage the visa timeline when pursuing a Sales Support Specialist role at Globus Medical?
Timeline depends on your current status. If you're on OPT, Globus Medical needs to initiate your H-1B registration in March for an October start, so raise sponsorship early in the offer stage. For those outside the U.S., consular processing after an approved petition typically runs two to four months, depending on the consulate and time of year. USCIS premium processing, which targets a 15 business day adjudication window, is available for H-1B petitions and is worth discussing with your employer.
