Frame Your Clinical Knowledge for Sales
Globus Medical prioritizes candidates who can translate anatomy and surgical procedure knowledge into customer conversations. Before applying, document specific examples where your technical background directly influenced a sales outcome or clinical adoption decision.
Target Territories with Active Openings
Globus posts Inside Sales roles across dozens of U.S. territories simultaneously. Cross-reference open positions against regions where you're already work-authorized or where your target visa type is most straightforward to process, reducing employer friction during the offer stage.
Clarify OPT and CPT Timing Early
If you're on F-1 status, your OPT window is 12 months, with a 24-month STEM extension available if your degree qualifies. Raise your authorization timeline in the first recruiter conversation so Globus's HR team can align the H-1B petition cycle before your OPT expires.
Use Migrate Mate to Filter Verified Openings
Inside Sales roles at Globus span multiple product lines and regions. Use Migrate Mate to filter current Globus Medical Inside Sales Specialist openings by visa type, so you're only applying to positions where sponsorship aligns with your immigration status.
Understand How PERM Affects Your Long-Term Plan
If you're targeting permanent residence through an EB-2 or EB-3 pathway, ask Globus whether they initiate PERM labor certification for Inside Sales roles. Sponsored H-1B employees in sales functions sometimes face longer PERM timelines due to DOL prevailing wage determinations for commission-based positions.
Prepare a Territory Business Plan Before Interviews
Globus Inside Sales interviews often include scenario-based questions about how you'd build relationships with hospital purchasing departments and OR staff. Arriving with a structured 30-60-90 day plan signals commercial readiness and reduces perceived risk for a sponsoring employer.

Yes, Globus Medical sponsors H-1B visas for Inside Sales Specialist roles. The company has a consistent history of filing work visa petitions across its commercial organization, including sales functions. Your best approach is to confirm sponsorship availability for the specific role and territory during the recruiter screening call, before the interview process advances.
Which visa types are commonly used for Inside Sales Specialist roles at Globus Medical?
H-1B is the most common pathway for international candidates entering Inside Sales roles at Globus. F-1 OPT and CPT can bridge the gap while an H-1B petition is being prepared. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify for TN status under the USMCA. For longer-term U.S. residence, Globus has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card petitions for employees in commercial roles.
What qualifications does Globus Medical expect for Inside Sales Specialist positions?
Globus Medical typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in a life sciences, kinesiology, biomedical engineering, or business field, combined with demonstrated exposure to surgical environments or medical device sales. How do I apply for Inside Sales Specialist jobs at Globus Medical?
You can browse current Inside Sales Specialist openings at Globus Medical directly through Migrate Mate, which filters roles by visa sponsorship type so you can identify positions that match your immigration status. Apply directly through Globus Medical's careers portal once you've identified a target role. Tailor your application to highlight clinical product knowledge and any prior medical device or surgical sales experience.
How do I time my H-1B application if I receive an offer from Globus Medical?
H-1B petitions are filed annually with USCIS, with the registration window typically opening in March and cap-subject petitions taking effect October 1. If you receive an offer outside that window, Globus may bridge your status using OPT, CPT, or another eligible category. Confirm your current authorization expiration date with HR immediately after receiving an offer so the petition timeline can be mapped accurately.
