Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Account Associate Jobs at Globus Medical Jobs
Align your degree to medical sales credentials
H-1B eligibility for Account Associate roles requires a qualifying specialty occupation. A degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or health sciences strengthens your case far more than a general business degree when USCIS reviews your petition.
Research Globus territories before applying
Globus assigns Account Associates to specific geographic territories tied to hospital and surgical center accounts. Applying to regions with open surgical volume and fewer internal candidates improves your odds of reaching the offer stage quickly.
Get your OPT or STEM extension paperwork moving early
If you're on F-1 OPT, file your STEM extension with USCIS well before your initial 12-month period expires. Globus can continue your employment during a timely filed extension, but gaps in work authorization can stall or end the process.
Clarify sponsorship intent before the final interview
Globus Medical handles visa sponsorship through its HR and legal teams, not hiring managers. Raise your visa situation directly with the recruiter after a strong first-round interview, so sponsorship approval can run parallel to the offer process rather than delaying it.
Use Migrate Mate to target open Account Associate roles
Filtering for medical device employers with active sponsorship history saves significant time. Migrate Mate lets you browse Account Associate openings at Globus Medical specifically filtered by visa type, so you apply where sponsorship is already in play.

Find Account Associate at Globus Medical JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Globus Medical sponsor H-1B visas for Account Associates?
Yes. Globus Medical has a documented history of sponsoring H-1B visas for roles across its commercial organization, including Account Associates. The role generally needs to qualify as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards, which means your degree field and the specific job duties both factor into approval. Candidates with degrees in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or a related field are in the strongest position.
Which visa types are commonly used for Account Associate roles at Globus Medical?
H-1B is the most common nonimmigrant pathway for Account Associates at Globus. F-1 OPT and STEM OPT are frequently used by recent graduates to begin working before an H-1B is filed. TN visas are available for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. For permanent residence, Globus has sponsored EB-2 and EB-3 Green Cards for employees who progress within the sales organization.
How do I apply for Account Associate jobs at Globus Medical?
You can find open Account Associate positions through Globus Medical's careers site or through Migrate Mate, which aggregates roles filtered by visa sponsorship eligibility. Applications typically require a resume, and the process moves through a recruiter screen, field-based interviews, and a territory assessment. Flagging your visa situation early in the recruiter conversation helps avoid delays at the offer stage.
What qualifications does Globus Medical expect for Account Associate candidates?
Globus typically looks for a bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or business-related field, though life sciences and biomedical backgrounds carry more weight for visa purposes. Prior medical device or surgical sales experience is preferred but not always required for entry-level territory roles. Comfort in a hospital or operating room environment and the ability to manage relationships with surgeons and clinical staff are consistently valued.
How do I time the H-1B process if I'm already working at Globus on OPT?
Globus would need to submit your H-1B registration during the USCIS lottery window each March, with an October 1 start date if selected. If you're on STEM OPT, you may have enough runway to go through one full lottery cycle, and in some cases two. Confirm your OPT expiration date and your STEM extension eligibility with your designated school official as soon as you receive an offer.
