Job Roles at UST
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in UST Green Card Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles in UST's core technology practices
Green Card sponsorship at UST concentrates in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and IT consulting. Applying to roles within these established practice areas gives you the strongest chance of landing a position tied to a sponsorship-eligible track.
Understand which Green Card category applies to your background
UST files under both EB-2 and EB-3, depending on the role's degree requirements and your qualifications. Knowing which category fits your education and experience lets you evaluate job listings and negotiate sponsorship conversations with more confidence.
Raise Green Card early in the hiring process
At technology firms like UST, sponsorship decisions often happen before an offer is extended. Ask about Green Card sponsorship during your recruiter screening so both sides are aligned before investing time in technical interviews or assessments.
Use verified sponsorship data to filter your search
Not every UST job listing mentions Green Card explicitly. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, helping you focus only on roles where Green Card filing is a realistic outcome.
Demonstrate long-term commitment to the role and company
Green Card sponsorship is a multi-year investment for an employer. Showing during interviews that you're interested in growing within UST's Technology & Software practice, not just using it as a stepping stone, meaningfully improves your sponsorship prospects.
Clarify the PERM timeline before accepting an offer
Green Card processing at technology companies typically involves a PERM labor certification before EB-2 or EB-3 filing. Ask your UST recruiter to walk through their standard sponsorship timeline so you can plan your immigration status and work authorization accordingly.

Does UST sponsor Green Card visas?
Yes, UST sponsors Green Card visas for qualifying employees. The company files under the EB-2 and EB-3 employment-based preference categories, primarily for professionals in technology and software roles. Sponsorship is typically offered to employees in long-term positions where UST has determined a sustained business need, rather than short-term project-based engagements.
Which roles and departments at UST are most likely to receive Green Card sponsorship?
UST's Green Card filings concentrate in software engineering, application development, systems architecture, and IT consulting. Roles requiring specialized technical degrees and skills, particularly those aligned with UST's core Technology & Software service lines, are the most consistent candidates for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship. Project management and business analyst roles are less commonly sponsored but not excluded.
How do I navigate the Green Card application process at UST?
UST typically manages sponsorship through its internal HR and immigration teams, often working with an outside immigration law firm. The process starts with PERM labor certification through the Department of Labor, followed by an I-140 immigrant petition filed with USCIS. Your role is to provide documentation of your qualifications and work history. UST coordinates the legal filings.
How long does the Green Card process take at UST?
The timeline depends heavily on your country of birth and the EB category UST files under. PERM certification alone can take several months to over a year. For EB-3 applicants born in India or China, priority date backlogs can extend the overall process by years. EB-2 with priority date availability moves faster. Clarify your specific situation with UST's immigration team before accepting an offer.
How do I find Green Card jobs at UST and verify sponsorship before applying?
Not every UST job listing explicitly states Green Card sponsorship, which makes it easy to waste time on roles that won't lead to permanent residency. Migrate Mate lets you search UST's open roles filtered by verified Green Card sponsorship history, so you can focus your applications on positions where sponsorship is a realistic outcome rather than guessing from the job description.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card sponsorship at UST?
Employers sponsoring a Green Card through the PERM labor certification process must pay at least the prevailing wage for the role. The Department of Labor determines this rate based on the specific job title, location, and experience level. The prevailing wage is locked in during the PERM filing and applies through the entire Green Card process. You can look up current rates using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
