Job Roles at FedEx Freight
How to Get Visa Sponsorship in FedEx Freight H-1B Visa Sponsorship Jobs USA
Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation criteria
FedEx Freight's H-1B sponsorship concentrates in technical and professional functions. Focus your search on IT, data analytics, engineering, and operations roles where a specialized degree is a genuine requirement, not just a preference.
Research FedEx Freight's sponsorship history before applying
Knowing which departments have historically filed H-1B petitions helps you prioritize the right openings. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and avoid wasting applications on roles that won't sponsor.
Raise sponsorship early in the recruiter conversation
In consulting and professional services environments, recruiters often screen for visa status upfront. Mentioning H-1B sponsorship in your initial message signals transparency and lets both sides avoid mismatched expectations before investing time in interviews.
Demonstrate expertise that's hard to source domestically
FedEx Freight is more likely to sponsor when a candidate brings specialized skills not easily found in the local market. Highlight niche technical competencies, certifications, or domain knowledge in logistics technology that set you apart from comparable domestic applicants.
Understand the H-1B cap and lottery timing before targeting FedEx Freight
Standard H-1B petitions are subject to the annual lottery, with new employment typically starting October 1. If you're applying to FedEx Freight outside cap-exempt channels, plan your job search timeline around the March registration window.
Prepare for a structured interview process focused on technical depth
FedEx Freight's professional services hiring tends to emphasize problem-solving and domain expertise. Coming in with concrete examples of how your specialized background directly applies to their operational or technology challenges strengthens both your candidacy and the sponsorship case.

Does FedEx Freight sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, FedEx Freight sponsors H-1B visas for qualifying roles. Sponsorship is selective and concentrated in positions that meet the H-1B specialty occupation standard, meaning roles that require at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. Technology, analytics, and professional services functions are the most common sponsorship areas.
Which roles and departments at FedEx Freight are most likely to receive H-1B sponsorship?
H-1B sponsorship at FedEx Freight is most common in IT, software engineering, data analytics, and operations roles that require specialized technical qualifications. Generalist or supervisory positions with broad degree requirements are less likely to qualify under H-1B specialty occupation rules. Searching for roles with specific degree field requirements improves your chances.
How do I navigate the H-1B application process at FedEx Freight?
Once you receive and accept an offer, FedEx Freight's HR and legal team typically work with an immigration attorney to file the H-1B petition. You'll need to provide educational credentials, employment history, and documentation supporting the specialty occupation classification. The employer handles USCIS filing fees and submits the petition on your behalf.
How do I find H-1B sponsored jobs at FedEx Freight?
Migrate Mate lets you search FedEx Freight's open roles filtered by verified H-1B sponsorship history, so you can identify positions where sponsorship is realistic rather than guessing from a generic job listing. Focus on roles in IT and technical operations, where FedEx Freight's sponsorship activity has been most consistent.
What timeline should I expect for H-1B sponsorship at FedEx Freight?
If you're subject to the H-1B cap, your employer must register in March, and employment can only begin October 1 if selected. The petition filing window opens April 1. From offer acceptance to work authorization, the full process typically spans six to eight months. Premium processing is available and can accelerate USCIS adjudication to around two to three weeks.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B jobs at FedEx Freight?
H-1B employers must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is determined when they file the Labor Condition Application with the Department of Labor. The rate is based on the role, location, and experience level, and ensures international hires are paid comparably to U.S. workers in the same position. You can look up prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the DOL's OFLC Wage Search tool.
