- Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred with knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing our return on investment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude for machines used in the production process.
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complies with all written and verbal safety rules of the plant and department. Must be willing and able to wear all personal protective equipment.
- Understand and adhere to plant policies and procedures, encompassing good manufacturing policy, hazard analysis, and critical control points processes.
- Must be able to read and understand job docket to ensure that the correct materials are being used
- Startup, shutdown and make machine adjustments
- Inspect final product using quality checks, ensuring proper documentation and timely communication of any issues.
- Demonstrate the capability to maintain pace with the production process and achieve daily production targets while also ensuring cleanliness in the designated area.
- Other duties as assigned
