Align your credentials to hospitality operations
Jack in the Box evaluates Hospitalist candidates on food service operations and guest experience management, not clinical or medical backgrounds. Make sure your resume reflects QSR or food and beverage operations experience before you apply.
Target corporate postings over franchise locations
Visa sponsorship at Jack in the Box flows through corporate hiring, not franchisee operations. Filter your search specifically for corporate Hospitalist openings to avoid wasting time on locations that cannot legally sponsor work visas.
Use Migrate Mate to surface current openings
Corporate Hospitalist roles with sponsorship eligibility move quickly in food and beverage. Browse Jack in the Box's active postings on Migrate Mate to identify which specific positions are open to sponsored candidates right now.
Prepare your LCA documentation before the offer stage
For H-1B sponsorship, your employer files a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before USCIS can process the petition. Having your employment verification documents, degree credentials, and any prior visa records organized shortens that gap significantly.
Address nonimmigrant intent directly in your TN application
TN visa holders in food and beverage operations face increased scrutiny at the port of entry around intent to immigrate. If Jack in the Box is also sponsoring you for a Green Card simultaneously, coordinate with your immigration attorney before your TN entry.

Find Hospitalist at Jack in the Box JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Jack in the Box sponsor H-1B visas for Hospitalists?
Yes, Jack in the Box sponsors H-1B visas for Hospitalist roles through its corporate hiring function. Because the H-1B requires a certified Labor Condition Application from the DOL before USCIS can process the petition, the process starts well before your first day. Sponsorship applies to corporate positions, so confirm the specific posting is a direct corporate hire before expecting sponsorship support.
How do I apply for Hospitalist jobs at Jack in the Box?
Apply through Jack in the Box's corporate careers portal, filtering specifically for Hospitalist or related hospitality operations roles. You can also browse current openings that include sponsorship eligibility on Migrate Mate. In your application, clearly state your visa status and authorization needs upfront. Waiting until the offer stage to raise sponsorship requirements often slows or complicates the process.
Which visa types does Jack in the Box commonly use for Hospitalist roles?
Jack in the Box has used H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visa pathways for this function. F-1 OPT and CPT are typically used for students completing hospitality or business programs. TN applies to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories. H-1B and the employment-based Green Card paths are used for longer-term placements in corporate Hospitalist functions.
What qualifications does Jack in the Box expect for sponsored Hospitalist roles?
Jack in the Box looks for candidates with a background in hospitality operations, food service management, or guest experience within the quick service restaurant or broader food and beverage industry. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field strengthens your case for specialty occupation classification under H-1B. Relevant QSR operational experience carries significant weight alongside formal credentials.
How do I understand the timeline for getting sponsored by Jack in the Box as a Hospitalist?
Timeline depends on your visa type. F-1 OPT authorization can begin close to your start date, while H-1B petitions are subject to the annual cap with a lottery in April and an October 1 start date. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 can take one to several years depending on your country of birth. Starting conversations with the recruiter about sponsorship needs early in the interview process prevents last-minute delays.
