Tailor your resume to QSR operations
Jack in the Box hires for fast-paced, high-volume service environments. Frame your hospitality experience around operational metrics, shift management, and food safety compliance rather than fine dining or hotel-style service credentials.
Target corporate and regional management openings
Visa sponsorship at quick-service chains typically flows through corporate or multi-unit management roles, not front-line positions. Focus your search on district manager, training manager, or operations specialist titles where sponsorship is more commonly approved.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active sponsorship openings
Filter Jack in the Box hospitality listings by visa type on Migrate Mate before applying. This saves time by showing only roles where sponsorship has been offered, so you're not pursuing positions that won't move forward.
Request LCA details before accepting an offer
Once you receive an offer, ask HR whether the Labor Condition Application has been filed with DOL for your specific location and role title. The prevailing wage determination on the LCA directly affects your offered salary and timeline.
Understand TN eligibility for food service management
Canadian and Mexican nationals in management consulting or certain business-function roles may qualify for TN status. Confirm with the hiring team that your specific hospitality role maps to a qualifying TN occupation category before assuming this pathway applies.

Does Jack in the Box sponsor H-1B visas for Hospitalitys?
Jack in the Box has sponsored H-1B visas for hospitality roles, though approvals at quick-service restaurant companies are most common for corporate-level or multi-unit management positions rather than hourly or entry-level roles. H-1B sponsorship requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, so roles with a direct degree requirement in hospitality management, business operations, or a related field are the strongest candidates.
How do I apply for Hospitality jobs at Jack in the Box?
Apply through Jack in the Box's careers portal or browse open hospitality positions on Migrate Mate, which filters listings by visa sponsorship eligibility so you can identify roles where sponsorship is available. When applying, clearly indicate your visa status and sponsorship needs in your application. Following up with the HR or talent acquisition team after submitting can help you confirm whether your target role includes sponsorship.
Which visa types are commonly used for Hospitality roles at Jack in the Box?
Jack in the Box has sponsored H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for hospitality professionals. F-1 OPT is common for recent graduates entering food service management, while H-1B and Green Card sponsorship typically follows demonstrated performance in a corporate or multi-unit capacity.
What qualifications does Jack in the Box expect for sponsored Hospitality roles?
For sponsored positions, Jack in the Box generally looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field. Hands-on experience in fast food or quick-service restaurant environments is a strong differentiator. Multi-unit oversight, food safety certifications such as ServSafe, and demonstrated ability to manage high-volume operations all strengthen your candidacy for roles where visa sponsorship is on the table.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for Jack in the Box Hospitality roles?
Timeline depends on the visa type. F-1 OPT authorization through your university DSO typically takes three to five months before your program end date. H-1B petitions are subject to an annual lottery with an October 1 start date, meaning the process from offer to work authorization can span six months or more. TN status for eligible Canadian nationals can be obtained at the border on the same day as crossing with the right documentation.
