Align your resume to staffing workflows
Project Specialist roles at Jobot support active recruiting pipelines, so your resume should reflect experience coordinating across teams, tracking deliverables, and managing client-facing timelines. Generic project management bullet points won't stand out in a staffing-specific review.
Target open roles that match active client verticals
Jobot's Project Specialist openings often align with specific client industries they're actively placing into. Use Migrate Mate to filter open Project Specialist positions at Jobot by location and sponsorship type, so you're applying to roles with active hiring momentum rather than stale postings.
Confirm LCA wage compliance during offer review
Before signing an offer, verify that the proposed salary meets the DOL prevailing wage for your role and work location. Staffing firms file Labor Condition Applications tied to specific job sites, and your work location can shift if you're placed with a client, which may trigger a new LCA.
Prepare a degree equivalency letter proactively
Staffing firms processing H-1B petitions for Project Specialist roles frequently encounter USCIS scrutiny around whether the position qualifies as a specialty occupation. Having a credential evaluation letter ready before the offer stage speeds up the I-129 filing and reduces back-and-forth with Jobot's HR team.
Ask Jobot directly about cap-exempt filing options
If Jobot places you with a qualifying nonprofit, university, or government research entity, your H-1B petition may be cap-exempt, bypassing the annual lottery. Not all staffing firms are aware of this pathway, so raise it explicitly if your placement client fits those criteria.

Find Project Specialist at Jobot JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Jobot sponsor H-1B visas for Project Specialists?
Yes, Jobot sponsors H-1B visas for Project Specialist roles. As a staffing and recruiting firm, Jobot has experience navigating the H-1B petition process, including filing the required Labor Condition Application with the DOL and submitting the I-129 petition through USCIS. Sponsorship is evaluated on a role-by-role basis, so confirming sponsorship availability early in the interview process is the right move.
Which visa types does Jobot commonly use for Project Specialist roles?
Jobot sponsors H-1B, F-1 OPT, and TN visas for Project Specialist positions. F-1 OPT is the most accessible entry point for recent graduates, while H-1B is the standard long-term path requiring USCIS lottery selection each April. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories, subject to the USMCA agreement.
How do I apply for Project Specialist jobs at Jobot?
You can browse and apply for Project Specialist roles at Jobot directly through Migrate Mate, which filters for positions that include visa sponsorship. When applying, tailor your resume to reflect staffing coordination experience, and clearly state your visa status and authorization timeline in your cover note or initial outreach so Jobot's recruiting team can assess fit and sponsorship logistics upfront.
What qualifications does Jobot typically look for in Project Specialist candidates?
Jobot's Project Specialist roles generally require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, operations, or communications, along with demonstrated experience managing project timelines, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional coordination. In a staffing context, familiarity with ATS platforms and client delivery workflows strengthens your application. For H-1B purposes, your degree field should connect clearly to the specific duties of the role.
How do I plan my timeline if I need H-1B sponsorship through Jobot?
H-1B registration opens each March, with USCIS conducting the lottery shortly after. If selected, employment can begin October 1 of that year. If you're currently on OPT, you need an offer in place before your OPT expires to bridge into cap-gap status. Starting conversations with Jobot's recruiting team in January or February gives enough time to align your offer, the LCA filing, and the lottery registration window.
