Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Client Partner Jobs at JPMorganChase Jobs
Align your credentials to specialty occupation standards
Client Partner roles at JPMorganChase typically require a degree in finance, business, or a related field. Before applying, confirm your credentials map directly to the role's stated requirements, since USCIS evaluates whether the specific degree field supports the position.
Target JPMorganChase's institutional and commercial banking divisions
Client Partner openings at JPMorganChase cluster in divisions managing large institutional relationships, not retail. Focus your applications on commercial banking, asset management, and corporate client coverage teams, where international hiring for this function is most consistent.
Use Migrate Mate to filter active Client Partner openings
Not every Client Partner posting at JPMorganChase is tagged with sponsorship availability. Use Migrate Mate to filter current openings at JPMorganChase by visa type so you're only spending time on roles where sponsorship is confirmed.
Clarify your visa timeline during early recruiter conversations
If you're on OPT or a visa with a hard expiration, surface your timeline in the first recruiter call, not after an offer. JPMorganChase's legal and HR teams need lead time to coordinate LCA filing with the DOL before USCIS can receive the H-1B petition.
Prepare for a multi-stage interview reflecting client-facing competencies
JPMorganChase's Client Partner interview process typically includes case-based rounds and stakeholder management scenarios. Your visa status rarely affects interview decisions here, but a strong client coverage narrative accelerates internal approvals that often run parallel to sponsorship decisions.
Understand how E-3 and H-1B1 sponsorship differs from standard H-1B
If you hold Australian citizenship, JPMorganChase can sponsor you on an E-3 without lottery exposure. H-1B1 is available for Chilean and Singaporean nationals. Both categories have separate USCIS processing tracks and do not count against the annual H-1B cap.

Find Client Partner at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Client Partners?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Client Partner roles. The process requires the employer to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before submitting the H-1B petition to USCIS. Because JPMorganChase operates at significant scale across financial services, its legal teams are experienced with this workflow, but your offer timeline still needs to account for LCA certification and, if applicable, the annual H-1B lottery.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase commonly use for Client Partner roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors Client Partners across several nonimmigrant categories, including H-1B, E-3 for Australian citizens, and H-1B1 for Chilean and Singaporean nationals. For candidates pursuing permanent residency, the company also supports EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship. The right visa category depends on your nationality, degree, and whether the role qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS definitions.
How do I apply for Client Partner jobs at JPMorganChase?
Applications go through JPMorganChase's careers portal, where Client Partner roles are listed by division and location. To find openings filtered specifically by visa sponsorship availability, Migrate Mate surfaces active JPMorganChase Client Partner postings alongside each role's confirmed sponsorship status, which saves you time that would otherwise be spent manually screening job descriptions for immigration eligibility language.
What qualifications are expected for Client Partner roles at JPMorganChase?
JPMorganChase's Client Partner roles typically require a bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a closely related field, with several years of experience in institutional relationship management or financial services client coverage. USCIS requires the degree field to align specifically with the role's core duties for H-1B specialty occupation approval, so a general management background without a finance or business credential can create complications during petition review.
How do I manage timing if I'm on OPT applying for a Client Partner role at JPMorganChase?
If your OPT expires before October 1, the H-1B cap-subject filing deadline, you'll need to confirm whether your start date can be structured around the USCIS fiscal year cycle. STEM OPT extensions give you up to 24 additional months of work authorization, which can bridge the gap. Raise your timeline with JPMorganChase's recruiter early, since the LCA filing with the DOL alone takes a minimum of seven business days before USCIS can accept the petition.
