INTRODUCTION
The US Equity Team provides investment management capabilities to institutional and retail clients, based on proprietary fundamental and quantitative research.
The US Equity Fundamental Research team is currently looking for a senior investment professional to lead our team’s research and investments in the Software sector and serve as the Research Analyst. The US Equity Fundamental Research team provides investment recommendations for ~$450B in AUM.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Research companies and industries within the coverage universe.
- Make relative valuation comparisons and investment recommendations to portfolio managers.
- Participate in managing regional and global analyst funds.
- Work and communicate with a global network of JPMAM analysts and portfolio managers.
- Mentoring and developing a junior level research analyst.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES AND SKILLS:
- At least ten years of relevant Buy Side experience analyzing stocks in the Software industry
- Strong understanding of financial markets and securities valuations
- Ability to deliver clear/concise investment recommendations under significant uncertainty
- Ability to distinguish between essential and nonessential information
- Strong spreadsheet modeling skills
- Excellent oral and written skills. Ability to work effectively with colleagues globally
