Align Your Credentials to U.S. Regulatory Frameworks
JPMorganChase's compliance roles frequently reference BSA, AML, and Dodd-Frank requirements. Frame your resume and credentials around these U.S. frameworks specifically, even if your experience was earned under equivalent foreign regulatory regimes.
Target Roles With Active LCA Filings
Before applying, search the DOL's FLAG system for JPMorganChase LCA filings under job titles like 'Risk Analyst' or 'Compliance Analyst.' Active certified LCAs signal that a specific office location is already set up to sponsor that role.
Find Open Roles Through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to filter open Risk Compliance Analyst positions at JPMorganChase by visa type. This surfaces roles where sponsorship has been confirmed, saving you from applying to postings that exclude international candidates.
Clarify Sponsorship Scope During Recruiter Screening
JPMorganChase distinguishes between H-1B transfers and new cap-subject filings internally. Ask your recruiter early whether the role qualifies for cap-exempt filing or falls under the standard April lottery cycle, so you can plan around the H-1B registration window.
Prepare for PERM Labor Certification Early
If Green Card sponsorship is your goal, JPMorganChase typically pursues EB-2 or EB-3 PERM for compliance professionals. PERM requires a formal recruitment process through DOL, which takes months, so raise your long-term intent with HR once you have an offer.
Demonstrate Institutional Compliance Experience Concretely
Risk Compliance Analyst roles at large holding companies like JPMorganChase involve multi-entity regulatory oversight. Interviewers assess whether you can handle complexity across subsidiaries, so document specific cross-entity or multi-jurisdictional compliance work in your application materials.

Find Risk Compliance Analyst at JPMorganChase JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does JPMorganChase sponsor H-1B visas for Risk Compliance Analysts?
Yes, JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B visas for Risk Compliance Analysts. The firm is a registered H-1B employer and files petitions for qualifying roles across its risk and compliance functions. Sponsorship availability can vary by team and location, so confirming with your recruiter early in the process is the most reliable way to verify your specific role qualifies.
Which visa types does JPMorganChase use for Risk Compliance Analyst roles?
JPMorganChase sponsors H-1B, H-1B1, and E-3 visas for Risk Compliance Analysts, covering the most common nonimmigrant work visa categories. For permanent residency, the firm files EB-2 and EB-3 petitions through the PERM labor certification process administered by the DOL. Australian citizens should specifically ask about E-3 eligibility, as it bypasses the H-1B lottery entirely.
How do I apply for Risk Compliance Analyst jobs at JPMorganChase?
You can search for Risk Compliance Analyst openings directly on JPMorganChase's careers portal, filtering by function and location. For a faster way to find roles where visa sponsorship is confirmed, browse open positions at JPMorganChase on Migrate Mate, which surfaces sponsorship-eligible listings specifically. Tailor your application to U.S. regulatory frameworks like AML, BSA, and OCC guidance to stand out.
What qualifications does JPMorganChase expect for Risk Compliance Analyst candidates?
JPMorganChase typically looks for a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, law, or a related field, with preference for candidates who have direct experience in AML, regulatory reporting, or operational risk within financial services. Certifications like CAMS or CRCM strengthen your profile. Roles at the analyst level often require two to five years of relevant compliance or risk experience, though this varies by team.
How do I handle timing if my H-1B relies on the annual lottery?
H-1B registration opens each March through USCIS, with cap-subject petitions effective October 1 of the same year. If you receive an offer from JPMorganChase but miss the registration window, discuss whether a cap-exempt filing is possible or whether your start date can be structured around the next cycle. The 60-day grace period after a prior status ends can also provide limited flexibility while your petition is pending.
