Frame your credentials around student-facing service
Keiser University prioritizes support staff who understand higher education workflows. When preparing your resume, align prior experience to student services, enrollment support, or academic advising contexts rather than generic call-center roles to match how Keiser frames these positions internally.
Confirm E-Verify enrollment before accepting offers
Keiser must be enrolled in E-Verify to legally onboard F-1 OPT workers. Before your offer stage, verify Keiser's active E-Verify participation directly through the E-Verify employer search so you're not caught off guard during onboarding paperwork.
Target Keiser campuses in high-enrollment states
Keiser operates across Florida with a large regional footprint. Customer Support openings cluster around campuses with high student volume, so filtering your search by location helps you identify roles where sponsorship decisions are more likely to move quickly through HR.
Use Migrate Mate to surface active Keiser openings
Customer Support roles at universities fill fast and often aren't widely syndicated. Use Migrate Mate to browse verified sponsorship-eligible Customer Support positions at Keiser University and filter by visa type before listings close.
Clarify TN eligibility early if you're Canadian or Mexican
TN status can cover certain administrative and support roles if the position maps to a qualifying USMCA occupation category. Raise this with Keiser's HR team during the offer stage, since TN processing is faster than H-1B and doesn't require USCIS petition approval.
Understand PERM timelines before negotiating your start date
If Keiser pursues EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship for your role, the PERM labor certification process through DOL typically runs 12 to 18 months before an I-140 petition is even filed. Build that reality into any start date or transition conversation early in negotiations.

Does Keiser University sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Supports?
Yes, Keiser University does sponsor H-1B visas for Customer Support roles, though sponsorship decisions are made on a case-by-case basis depending on the position's qualifications and business need. Because H-1B requires the role to qualify as a specialty occupation, candidates with bachelor's degrees in relevant fields like communications, business administration, or education are better positioned to receive sponsorship for these positions.
How do I apply for Customer Support jobs at Keiser University?
Applications for Customer Support roles at Keiser University go through their official careers portal. You can also find visa-sponsorship-eligible openings through Migrate Mate, which surfaces positions where Keiser has a history of supporting international candidates. When applying, tailor your materials to highlight student-facing experience and familiarity with higher education environments, as Keiser's support teams work directly with enrolled students.
Which visa types does Keiser University commonly use for Customer Support roles?
Keiser University sponsors across several visa categories for Customer Support positions, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, and employment-based Green Cards through the EB-2 and EB-3 pathways. F-1 OPT is the most accessible entry point for recent graduates, while H-1B and PERM-based Green Card sponsorship tend to come after a candidate has established themselves in the role.
What qualifications does Keiser University expect for Customer Support roles?
Keiser University typically looks for candidates with experience in student services, academic advising, enrollment management, or similar higher education support functions. Strong communication skills, familiarity with CRM or student information systems, and the ability to handle high-volume inquiries are consistent expectations. For visa sponsorship purposes, a relevant bachelor's degree strengthens your case, particularly for H-1B classification.
How do timelines work if Keiser University sponsors my visa for a Customer Support role?
For F-1 OPT, you can begin working immediately after your OPT start date, provided Keiser is E-Verify enrolled. H-1B sponsorship requires USCIS petition approval and, if you're subject to the annual cap, a lottery entry in March with an October 1 start date at the earliest. TN status for qualifying roles can be obtained at the border or port of entry with no advance USCIS filing, making it one of the faster paths.
