Align Your Credentials to Florida Standards
Keiser University operates primarily in Florida, so aligning your teaching credentials or licensure to Florida Department of Education requirements before applying signals you're ready to work. International credentials often need a transcript evaluation through a NACES-approved agency.
Target Campuses with Active Openings
Keiser runs more than 20 campuses statewide, and K-12 Education hiring is not uniform across all locations. Research which specific campuses post education roles consistently and direct your applications there rather than applying broadly.
Confirm Employer E-Verify Enrollment Before Applying
H-1B sponsorship requires the employer to be enrolled in E-Verify. Confirm Keiser University's enrollment status through the E-Verify employer search tool before you spend time on an application, so you're not caught off guard at the offer stage.
Prepare for the LCA's Prevailing Wage Requirement
Before Keiser can file your H-1B petition, they must submit a Labor Condition Application to the DOL certifying your salary meets prevailing wage for your role and location. Research DOL wage data for education roles in your target Florida county so you can negotiate accurately.

Does Keiser University sponsor H-1B visas for K 12 Educations?
Yes, Keiser University has sponsored H-1B visas for roles in the K-12 Education field. Sponsorship is not guaranteed for every open position, so you should confirm willingness to sponsor during your first substantive conversation with a recruiter or hiring manager. Roles requiring specialized subject-matter expertise or a specific degree tend to have a stronger case for H-1B eligibility under the specialty occupation standard.
How do I apply for K 12 Education jobs at Keiser University?
Applications go through Keiser University's careers portal, where you can search by campus location and job category. Tailor your resume to reflect Florida education standards and any relevant curriculum or instructional design experience. Mention your need for visa sponsorship early in the process so the recruiter can loop in HR before an offer is extended. You can also browse current openings through Migrate Mate, which filters for roles with sponsorship history.
Which visa types does Keiser University commonly use for K 12 Education roles?
H-1B is the most common work visa for K-12 Education hires at Keiser, particularly for roles that require a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific academic field. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying education occupations. F-1 OPT and CPT can cover shorter-term or transitional arrangements, and EB-2 or EB-3 immigrant visa sponsorship is possible for candidates moving toward permanent residency.
What qualifications does Keiser University expect for K 12 Education positions?
Most K-12 Education roles at Keiser require at minimum a bachelor's degree in education or a closely related subject area, with a master's degree preferred for curriculum or program leadership positions. Florida teaching licensure or eligibility to obtain it is often expected. Practical classroom or instructional experience strengthens your profile, and familiarity with accreditation standards or competency-based learning models is a plus for roles with a curriculum development component.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take when hired at Keiser University?
For H-1B sponsorship, Keiser must first file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL, which typically takes one to three weeks. The H-1B petition is then submitted to USCIS, with standard processing running three to five months. Premium processing cuts that to roughly 15 business days. If you're cap-subject, you'll need to enter the annual lottery in March, with employment starting no earlier than October 1 of that year.
