Verify Your Credentials Meet State Licensing Requirements
Radiology roles at a Florida-based university like Keiser require state licensure before you can practice. Confirm your imaging credentials and any foreign transcript evaluations are complete before applying, since licensing delays can stall the entire sponsorship timeline.
Target Campus Locations With Active Radiology Programs
Keiser operates across multiple Florida campuses, and not every location runs the same health sciences curriculum. Focus your applications on campuses where radiologic technology or allied health programs are active, since those departments are most likely to have funded Radiologist openings.
Use Migrate Mate to Find Sponsoring Radiologist Openings
Radiology roles at education-sector employers can be hard to surface through general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Radiologist positions at Keiser University that include visa sponsorship, so you're only applying where sponsorship is already on the table.
Clarify Visa Category Before Accepting an Offer
Keiser sponsors multiple visa types including H-1B, TN, and employment-based Green Cards. Before signing anything, confirm in writing which category the employer intends to file under, since the timeline and your work authorization continuity differ significantly across each path.
Align Your Application With the H-1B Cap Calendar
If Keiser intends to sponsor you on a cap-subject H-1B, USCIS only accepts registrations in March for an October 1 start. Structure your offer negotiation and credential verification to land well before that window, or discuss cap-exempt alternatives if you're already on F-1 OPT.
Prepare a Specialty Occupation Case for Your Radiology Role
USCIS requires H-1B petitions to demonstrate the position qualifies as a specialty occupation. For a Radiologist at an educational institution, gather documentation showing the role requires a degree in radiology or a directly related field, not just general healthcare experience.

Does Keiser University sponsor H-1B visas for Radiologists?
Yes, Keiser University sponsors H-1B visas for Radiologist roles. The university has a history of filing petitions across multiple visa categories for health sciences positions. If you're targeting a Radiologist opening, confirm sponsorship intent early in the interview process, since cap-subject H-1B filings follow a strict annual timeline that USCIS controls.
How do I apply for Radiologist jobs at Keiser University?
You can search for open Radiologist positions directly on Keiser University's careers portal or browse verified sponsoring roles through Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for positions where visa sponsorship is available. When applying, include documentation of your radiology credentials and any relevant state licensure, since Keiser's health sciences roles typically require proof of clinical qualifications upfront.
Which visa types does Keiser University use for Radiologist roles?
Keiser University sponsors Radiologists under several categories, including H-1B for specialty occupation workers, TN for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles, F-1 OPT and CPT for students completing radiology programs, and employment-based Green Card pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3. The right category depends on your nationality, educational background, and how long you need authorization to last.
What qualifications does Keiser University expect for Radiologist positions?
Keiser typically expects candidates to hold a relevant degree in radiology, radiologic sciences, or a closely related field. State licensure is generally required before you can begin clinical or instructional work. Roles that support academic programs may also value teaching experience or the ability to supervise radiologic technology students in lab or clinical settings alongside diagnostic duties.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Radiologist at Keiser University?
Timelines vary by visa type. H-1B petitions filed under regular processing take three to six months after the October 1 start date, though premium processing can reduce USCIS adjudication to 15 business days. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 typically runs one to two years before the I-140 stage. Build buffer time into your offer negotiation to account for licensing and DOL steps that run in parallel.
