Align Your Credentials to Florida Requirements
Keiser University operates primarily in Florida, so your healthcare license or certification needs to meet Florida Department of Health standards. Verify your credential is transferable before applying, since licensure gaps are a common reason offers stall before sponsorship paperwork begins.
Target Clinical Education Roles Specifically
Keiser hires healthcare professionals into teaching and clinical coordination roles, not just direct patient care. If your background spans both practice and instruction, position yourself for program director or clinical faculty openings, where sponsorship tends to be more established.
Confirm E-Verify Enrollment Before Your Interview
As a university receiving federal funding, Keiser is enrolled in E-Verify. Confirm this before your interview so you can confidently discuss work authorization without hesitation. It also signals you understand the compliance side of hiring international workers in higher education.
Ask HR About LCA Filing Timelines Early
The Labor Condition Application filed with DOL must be certified before your H-1B petition moves forward. Ask the HR or hiring team about their typical LCA turnaround during the offer stage so your start date expectations are grounded in the actual process, not assumptions.
Prepare a Specialty Occupation Letter for Clinical Roles
USCIS scrutinizes healthcare roles in educational settings to confirm they qualify as specialty occupations. A strong support letter from Keiser's legal team, backed by your degree transcripts and professional licensure, significantly reduces the chance of a Request for Evidence on your H-1B petition.
Browse Open Roles Through Migrate Mate
Healthcare openings at universities fill quickly and are not always posted on general job boards. Use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Keiser University healthcare roles that include visa sponsorship, so you're applying to positions where sponsorship is already on the table.

Find Healthcare at Keiser University JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Keiser University sponsor H-1B visas for Healthcares?
Yes, Keiser University has sponsored H-1B visas for healthcare professionals, particularly in clinical education and allied health roles. The H-1B requires your position to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning a specific bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field is the standard minimum. Roles tied to accredited academic programs at Keiser tend to meet this threshold more consistently than general support positions.
How do I apply for Healthcare jobs at Keiser University?
Applications go through Keiser University's careers portal, but healthcare roles with open sponsorship are easier to find by filtering on Migrate Mate, which surfaces positions where visa sponsorship is confirmed. When applying, tailor your materials to highlight both your clinical credentials and any teaching or academic experience, since most Keiser healthcare openings sit at the intersection of practice and instruction.
Which visa types are commonly used for Healthcare roles at Keiser University?
H-1B is the most common route for long-term healthcare hires at Keiser. TN visas are an option for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying healthcare occupations listed under the USMCA. F-1 OPT and CPT can cover short-term clinical or instructional work for current international students, while EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card sponsorship is possible for longer-tenured employees in specialty roles.
What qualifications are expected for Healthcare roles at Keiser University?
Most healthcare positions require an active professional license or certification recognized in Florida, along with a relevant degree at the bachelor's level or above. Clinical faculty and program director roles typically expect prior practice experience in addition to academic credentials. Keiser places particular emphasis on candidates whose backgrounds align with the specific program they will teach or support, so generalist profiles are less competitive than specialized ones.
How do I manage the timeline between a job offer and my visa start date?
For H-1B hires, the DOL must certify the Labor Condition Application before USCIS can process the petition, which adds several weeks to the timeline. Standard USCIS adjudication runs three to five months, though premium processing can reduce that to around two weeks. Factor these windows into your start date negotiation with Keiser so HR can initiate paperwork early enough to avoid gaps in your authorization.
