How to Get Visa Sponsorship in LGC Visa Sponsorship USA
Target roles that align with H-1B specialty occupation requirements
LGC's sponsorship activity centers on roles requiring specialized technical or professional expertise. Focus your application on positions in engineering, project management, or real estate finance where a specific degree field is a genuine job requirement, not just a preference.
Understand that construction and real estate hiring is project-driven
Sponsorship opportunities at LGC often align with project pipelines and development cycles. Timing your application to periods of active project activity, rather than off-cycle, improves your chances of finding a role with enough lead time for visa processing.
Signal long-term commitment in your application materials
Companies in construction and real estate value stability because projects span years. Framing your career goals around long-term contribution, rather than short-term roles, makes you a stronger candidate for an employer willing to invest in Green Card sponsorship.
Prepare for a multi-stage sponsorship process that includes Green Card pathways
LGC sponsors both H-1B and employment-based Green Cards. Understanding how EB-2 and EB-3 PERM sponsorship works, and being able to discuss your long-term eligibility with HR, shows you're a serious candidate who won't require hand-holding through the process.
Filter for verified sponsors before you apply
Not every construction and real estate firm that lists open roles will sponsor visas. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history, saving time and ensuring LGC-style opportunities are confirmed before you invest effort in an application.
Research LGC's active project portfolio to tailor your pitch
Construction and real estate employers respond to candidates who understand their business. Reviewing LGC's current developments and connecting your skills to those projects in your cover letter or interview demonstrates industry fluency that generic applicants won't show.

Get Access To All JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does LGC sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, LGC sponsors H-1B visas. The company has an active track record of filing H-1B petitions, primarily for specialized roles in construction and real estate. If you're targeting an H-1B with LGC, focus on positions where a specific degree in a relevant field is a defined requirement, since that's central to qualifying as a specialty occupation under USCIS standards.
What visa types does LGC sponsor?
LGC sponsors both H-1B nonimmigrant visas and employment-based Green Cards, including EB-2 and EB-3 categories. H-1B sponsorship is more common at the hiring stage, while Green Card sponsorship typically comes after you've established yourself in a role. If long-term U.S. residency is your goal, LGC's willingness to support both pathways makes it a meaningful target employer.
Which roles or departments at LGC are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at LGC tends to flow toward roles requiring specialized technical or professional qualifications in line with the company's construction and real estate focus. Positions in project engineering, real estate finance, development planning, and construction management are the most likely candidates. Roles that don't require a specific degree field are harder to sponsor under H-1B specialty occupation rules.
How do I find open visa-sponsored jobs at LGC?
The most reliable approach is to search for LGC on Migrate Mate, which tracks verified H-1B and Green Card sponsors and surfaces open roles at companies with confirmed sponsorship histories. This saves you from applying to positions at companies that list jobs but have no real track record of sponsoring. Filter by industry or visa type to narrow results to LGC-style opportunities.
How do I approach the application timeline when targeting H-1B sponsorship at LGC?
H-1B sponsorship has a firm annual timeline. Cap-subject petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start date, which means you need an offer well before the lottery registration window in March. For a construction and real estate employer like LGC, starting your job search six to nine months before you need status is a practical target, especially if your current authorization has a hard expiration date.
