Align your degree to supply chain domains
Manhattan Associates' Business Analyst roles are specialty occupation filings, meaning your degree field needs to connect directly to the role. A degree in information systems, business administration, or industrial engineering strengthens your H-1B petition far more than a general business degree.
Target implementation and consulting tracks first
Manhattan Associates frequently hires Business Analysts into client-facing implementation roles rather than internal product teams. These positions appear in their careers portal under supply chain consulting and are more actively staffed, which means faster hiring cycles and more predictable sponsorship timelines.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Business Analyst roles
Sponsoring employers don't always label roles clearly as visa-friendly. Use Migrate Mate to filter Business Analyst openings at Manhattan Associates by visa type, so you're only applying to positions where sponsorship is already confirmed for your status.
Start OPT early and document client project experience
If you're on F-1 OPT, Manhattan Associates can hire you before your H-1B cap-subject petition is filed. Use that window to build documented project experience with their WMS or TMS platforms, which directly strengthens the specialty occupation argument in your eventual H-1B filing.
Confirm your role is cap-subject before the lottery deadline
USCIS opens H-1B registration each March. If your Manhattan Associates offer arrives after the lottery closes, you'll wait a full year unless the role qualifies for a cap-exempt filing through a qualifying nonprofit partner. Clarify this with your recruiter before accepting any start date.
Understand PERM timing if Green Card sponsorship is discussed
If Manhattan Associates initiates PERM-based Green Card sponsorship under EB-2 or EB-3, DOL requires a formal prevailing wage determination and a supervised recruitment process before filing. That process typically takes 12 to 18 months, so confirm whether your employer starts PERM during or after your initial H-1B period.

Which visa types does Manhattan Associates commonly sponsor for Business Analysts?
Manhattan Associates sponsors H-1B visas as the primary work authorization pathway for Business Analysts. They also support F-1 OPT and CPT for students in active programs, TN status for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying roles, and EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for employees pursuing permanent residency after establishing a work history with the company.
What qualifications and experience does Manhattan Associates expect for Business Analyst roles?
Most Business Analyst positions require a bachelor's degree in information systems, business, supply chain management, or a related technical field. Experience with enterprise software implementations, requirements gathering, or ERP and WMS platforms is highly valued. Roles in their consulting practice often expect client-facing experience. Graduate degrees can strengthen candidacy, particularly for senior or specialized analyst positions within their product or strategy teams.
How long does the visa sponsorship process typically take for a Business Analyst offer at Manhattan Associates?
Timeline depends on visa type. H-1B cap-subject petitions follow USCIS's annual cycle, with registration in March and an October 1 start date if selected. TN status for Canadian nationals can be obtained at the border with same-day processing. PERM-based Green Card sponsorship, when offered, typically takes 18 months or more from initiation through DOL and USCIS. Confirm your pathway with your recruiter before setting a start date.
