Align your HR credentials to tech operations
Manhattan Associates hires HR professionals to support software engineers and implementation consultants. Frame your experience around talent acquisition, workforce planning, or HR business partnering in technical or SaaS environments to stand out against generalist applicants.
Verify your OPT timeline before applying
If you're on F-1 OPT, calculate your remaining authorized period before your first interview. Manhattan Associates can file an H-1B cap-subject petition, but USCIS processing means you need at least several months of OPT left to bridge the gap without a status lapse.
Target HR business partner roles specifically
Manhattan Associates' HR openings tend to cluster around HR business partner and talent acquisition functions tied to product and delivery teams. Searching for these titles specifically, rather than generic HR coordinator roles, puts you in front of the positions most likely to receive sponsorship consideration.
Use Migrate Mate to filter verified sponsoring HR roles
Sponsorship policies vary by role and team even within the same company. Search Migrate Mate to filter Manhattan Associates' current HR openings by visa type, so you're only applying to positions where sponsorship has been confirmed rather than assumed.
Ask about PERM timing during the offer stage
For H-1B holders targeting long-term status, understanding when Manhattan Associates typically initiates PERM labor certification matters. The DOL process can take a year or more, so clarifying the company's standard timeline before accepting an offer lets you plan your Green Card path realistically.
Prepare documentation showing HR specialty occupation status
USCIS scrutinizes HR roles as H-1B specialty occupations more closely than engineering positions. Gather evidence that your role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field, such as HR management or industrial-organizational psychology, and that your duties go beyond generalist administrative functions.

Find Human Resources at Manhattan Associates JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Manhattan Associates sponsor H-1B visas for Human Resources?
Yes, Manhattan Associates sponsors H-1B visas for Human Resources roles, though not every HR position automatically qualifies. USCIS requires that the role meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning it must typically require a bachelor's degree in a specific field like human resources management, organizational development, or a related discipline. HR business partner and talent acquisition roles tied to technical teams tend to have the strongest sponsorship case.
Which visa types does Manhattan Associates commonly use for Human Resources roles?
Manhattan Associates supports several pathways for HR professionals, including H-1B for specialty occupation workers, F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates, and TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying HR classifications. For longer-term employees, the company also pursues EB-2 and EB-3 immigrant visa categories through the PERM labor certification process with the DOL.
What qualifications does Manhattan Associates expect for sponsored Human Resources roles?
Manhattan Associates typically looks for HR professionals with a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, along with experience supporting technical or enterprise software teams. For HR business partner roles, exposure to workforce planning, performance management, or talent acquisition within a SaaS or professional services environment strengthens your application considerably. Advanced credentials like SHRM-CP or PHR can reinforce your specialty occupation case with USCIS.
How do I apply for Human Resources jobs at Manhattan Associates?
You can browse and apply for Human Resources positions at Manhattan Associates directly through Migrate Mate, which filters open roles by visa sponsorship type so you can confirm eligibility before applying. When you apply, tailor your resume to highlight experience supporting technical teams and explicitly note your visa status and work authorization needs. Following up with the HR team after submitting your application is standard practice and shows genuine interest.
How do I manage the timeline between an offer and my H-1B filing at Manhattan Associates?
H-1B cap-subject petitions can only be filed once per year, with USCIS typically opening the registration window in March for an October 1 start date. If you receive an offer from Manhattan Associates outside that window, you and the company will need to plan around your current status, whether F-1 OPT, TN, or another category, to avoid a gap. Premium processing through USCIS can reduce the adjudication wait to around 15 business days and is worth discussing with your hiring manager early.
