Frame your experience around Nike's business units
Nike organizes its analyst work by function: footwear, apparel, direct-to-consumer, and supply chain. Tailor your resume and portfolio to one of these verticals using metrics that reflect commercial outcomes, not just technical outputs.
Verify your visa type matches Nike's filed categories
Nike sponsors several work visa types for Business Analyst roles. Before applying, confirm your specific visa category appears in DOL disclosure data for Nike filings so you're not targeting a sponsorship path they don't actively support for this function.
Time your OPT application start date deliberately
If you're on F-1 OPT, request your OPT start date to align with Nike's hiring cycles, which tend to peak in early spring and fall. A mistimed start date can leave you with less runway than the role requires before your employer needs to file an H-1B petition.
Prepare for Nike's structured interview process early
Nike's Business Analyst interviews typically include a case component tied to retail or consumer data scenarios. Build familiarity with fashion and apparel business models, seasonal inventory cycles, and Nike's direct-to-consumer strategy before your first round.
Use Migrate Mate to surface open Business Analyst roles at Nike
Sponsorship-eligible openings at Nike aren't always labeled clearly on general job boards. Search Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Business Analyst positions at Nike that are open to visa sponsorship, so you're applying where the path actually exists.
Understand the LCA filing requirement before negotiating your offer
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL before your H-1B petition can proceed. Once Nike extends an offer, ask your recruiter for the expected LCA filing timeline so you can sequence your start date and any Cap-gap or status transitions accurately.

Find Business Analyst at Nike JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Nike sponsor H-1B visas for Business Analysts?
Yes, Nike sponsors H-1B visas for Business Analyst roles. Nike participates in the annual H-1B cap lottery, so candidates in this category need a petition filed by the April deadline for an October 1 start date. Nike also sponsors H-1B transfers for candidates already holding an approved H-1B with another employer, which bypasses the lottery entirely.
Which visa types does Nike commonly sponsor for Business Analyst roles?
Nike sponsors a range of visa categories for Business Analyst positions, including H-1B, E-3 (for Australian citizens), TN (for Canadian and Mexican nationals), F-1 OPT and CPT, J-1, and Green Card pathways such as EB-2 and EB-3. The right visa depends on your nationality, current immigration status, and the specific role you're applying for within Nike's business functions.
How do I apply for Business Analyst jobs at Nike?
Apply directly through Nike's careers portal and filter by the Business Analyst category. Roles are organized by business unit, so target the area where your experience is strongest, whether that's merchandising, supply chain, digital, or consumer analytics. You can also browse sponsorship-eligible openings through Migrate Mate to identify which positions are actively open to international candidates before investing time in an application.
What qualifications and experience does Nike expect from Business Analyst candidates?
Nike typically expects a bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business-related field, such as economics, statistics, finance, or data science, along with hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. Familiarity with retail or consumer goods business models, proficiency in tools like SQL or Tableau, and the ability to connect data findings to commercial decisions are consistently valued across Nike's Business Analyst roles.
How do I plan my timeline if Nike is sponsoring my visa as a Business Analyst?
The timeline depends on your visa category. For H-1B, your employer files in early April for an October 1 start, so your offer needs to be in place well before that window. For E-3 and TN, processing is faster, often within weeks of receiving your offer letter and a certified Labor Condition Application from the DOL. Build buffer time into your start date conversation with your recruiter to account for government processing on either path.
