Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Operations Jobs at Marmon Utility Jobs
Align your credentials with utility operations requirements
Marmon Utility's Operations roles often require demonstrated experience in field coordination, logistics, or supply chain within construction or infrastructure. Before applying, document project scopes and outcomes that map directly to utility or industrial settings, not just general operations work.
Use Migrate Mate to find open Operations positions
Search Migrate Mate to filter Marmon Utility's Operations openings by visa type. This saves time by surfacing roles where sponsorship is already part of the hiring process, rather than cold-applying and asking about sponsorship later.
Raise sponsorship early in recruiter conversations
Marmon Utility operates under Marmon Holdings, a Berkshire Hathaway company with established HR infrastructure. Their recruiting teams handle sponsorship decisions internally, so ask directly about sponsorship eligibility during the first screening call rather than waiting until an offer.
Understand OPT timing before your start date
If you're on F-1 OPT, confirm your authorization start date aligns with the role's intended start date. USCIS requires OPT employment to begin within 90 days of your EAD start date, and construction and utility companies often have project-dependent timelines that can shift.
Prepare for PERM documentation specific to operations work
For EB-2 or EB-3 Green Card paths, your employer must run a PERM labor certification through DOL. Gather performance reviews, project records, and any professional certifications tied to utility or construction operations early, since PERM documentation requests can reach back several years.

Find Operations at Marmon Utility JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Marmon Utility sponsor H-1B visas for Operations roles?
Yes, Marmon Utility has sponsored H-1B visas for Operations professionals. The key factor is whether the specific role qualifies as a specialty occupation under USCIS guidelines, meaning it requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field. Operations titles with broad or generalist degree requirements can face additional scrutiny, so confirming the job description aligns with your degree before applying is important.
How do I apply for Operations jobs at Marmon Utility?
You can find and apply for Marmon Utility Operations roles through Migrate Mate, which filters open positions by visa sponsorship type. Applications typically go through Marmon's centralized careers portal. Tailor your resume to highlight experience in utility, construction, or industrial operations environments, and be direct about your visa status early in the process to avoid delays.
Which visa types does Marmon Utility commonly use for Operations positions?
Marmon Utility sponsors a range of visa categories for Operations roles, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, TN, J-1, and Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3. The right category depends on your nationality, education, and stage of career. TN visas are often a faster path for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying operations roles.
What qualifications does Marmon Utility expect for sponsored Operations roles?
Most Operations roles at Marmon Utility in the construction and real estate space require a relevant degree in engineering, operations management, supply chain, or a related field. Hands-on experience with field operations, project coordination, or logistics in a utility or industrial setting strengthens your profile. For H-1B sponsorship, your degree must correspond directly to the job's core duties, not just broadly relate to operations.
How do I navigate the sponsorship timeline for an Operations role at Marmon Utility?
Timeline depends on your visa type. H-1B sponsorship follows USCIS's annual lottery and cap, with a start date no earlier than October 1 of the fiscal year. OPT and TN authorizations can move faster, often within weeks. For PERM-based Green Card cases, budget 12 to 24 months from initiation through DOL and USCIS processing before any adjustment of status filing.
