Target design and architecture roles first
MBH Architects' sponsorship activity concentrates in technical and creative roles tied to architecture and construction. Focus your applications on positions like project architect, designer, or BIM specialist, where visa sponsorship is most consistently supported.
Understand the H-1B specialty occupation requirement
Architecture roles at firms like MBH Architects typically qualify as H-1B specialty occupations because they require a degree in architecture or a closely related field. Make sure your credentials clearly align with the specific role you're applying for.
Use OPT and CPT as your entry point
MBH Architects sponsors F-1 OPT and CPT, making the firm accessible to international students still completing degrees or in their post-graduation work period. An OPT placement is often the most practical path to a later H-1B sponsorship.
Time your application around H-1B cap deadlines
H-1B petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October start date. If you're targeting MBH Architects for H-1B sponsorship, begin employer conversations in January or February to give the firm enough runway to prepare the filing.
Highlight your portfolio and project experience clearly
In construction and real estate, demonstrated project work matters as much as credentials. Present a portfolio showing relevant built or in-progress work. Employers in this sector respond to evidence of hands-on contribution, not just academic qualifications.
Search for open roles through a verified sponsor filter
Not all job boards confirm whether a company has an active sponsorship history. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and apply to MBH Architects with confidence that sponsorship is genuinely on the table.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does MBH Architects sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, MBH Architects sponsors H-1B visas. The firm operates in the architecture and construction sector, and roles requiring a specialized degree in architecture, engineering, or a related discipline typically meet the H-1B specialty occupation standard. Sponsorship tends to be concentrated in technical design and project delivery roles, so applicants in those areas are best positioned to receive an offer with H-1B support.
What visa types does MBH Architects sponsor?
MBH Architects sponsors H-1B visas for full-time specialty occupation roles and also supports F-1 OPT and CPT for students and recent graduates. The firm has also sponsored TN visas, which are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories including architecture. This range of visa types makes MBH Architects accessible to international candidates at different stages of their careers.
Which roles at MBH Architects are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at MBH Architects is most common in architecture, design, and project management roles where a specialized degree is a genuine requirement of the job. Positions such as project architect, interior designer, BIM coordinator, and design technologist align closely with the firm's portfolio in retail, hospitality, and mixed-use construction. Candidates with professional licensure or relevant accreditation strengthen their case considerably.
How do I apply to MBH Architects if I need visa sponsorship?
Start by identifying open roles that match your background in architecture or construction. When applying, make your visa status and sponsorship need clear early in the process rather than raising it after an offer. MBH Architects has an established history of sponsoring international candidates, so asking about sponsorship upfront is unlikely to disqualify you. Migrate Mate lists roles at verified sponsoring employers so you can confirm MBH Architects is actively hiring before you apply.
How do I know if MBH Architects is currently sponsoring visas?
The most reliable way to confirm current sponsorship activity is to check whether MBH Architects has open positions that match your background and then ask directly during the recruiter screening. Firms in the construction and real estate sector often tie sponsorship to specific project pipelines, so availability can shift with workload. Migrate Mate tracks sponsorship history by employer, giving you a data-backed starting point before reaching out.
