Align your credentials with specialty occupation standards
Molex's project director roles in fashion and apparel operations typically require a degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related technical field. Make sure your transcripts and credential evaluations clearly map your degree to the specific discipline the role demands before you apply.
Target Molex's supply chain and operations divisions
Director Of Projects openings at Molex tend to cluster around product development, manufacturing coordination, and global sourcing functions. Search by business unit rather than job title alone so you're not missing postings with slightly different naming conventions across regions.
Clarify sponsorship eligibility before your first interview
Molex sponsors multiple visa types for director-level roles, but not every hiring manager knows which applies to your situation. Raise your visa status early and confirm whether the role is eligible for your specific category, since H-1B cap timing affects start date feasibility.
Prepare for a PERM-backed Green Card conversation
For EB-2 and EB-3 pathways, Molex must complete DOL's PERM labor certification before filing your immigrant petition. Understanding this sequence ahead of your offer negotiation helps you ask the right questions about timelines and whether the company has initiated this process for similar hires.
Use Migrate Mate to find Director Of Projects openings at Molex
Filter specifically for Molex roles with active visa sponsorship on Migrate Mate so you're only seeing positions the company is prepared to sponsor. This saves you from applying to listings where sponsorship is listed as optional or case-by-case.
Account for F-1 OPT timing when negotiating your start date
If you're on F-1 OPT, your work authorization window is fixed. Molex's hiring process for director-level roles can run longer than standard timelines due to multiple interview rounds. Confirm your OPT expiration date before accepting an offer so you and your employer can plan the H-1B or cap-exempt filing accordingly.

Find Director Of Projects at Molex JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Molex sponsor H-1B visas for Director Of Projects roles?
Yes, Molex sponsors H-1B visas for Director Of Projects positions. Because this is a cap-subject visa, your start date depends on the annual H-1B lottery, which opens in March for an October 1 start. If you're already in H-1B status with another employer, Molex can file an H-1B transfer without waiting for the next lottery cycle.
How do I apply for Director Of Projects jobs at Molex?
You can search and apply for Director Of Projects openings at Molex directly through their careers portal. To find listings that are confirmed for visa sponsorship, use Migrate Mate to filter specifically for Molex roles where sponsorship is active. Having your resume, credential evaluations, and any prior visa documentation ready before you apply speeds up the process once a recruiter responds.
Which visa types does Molex commonly use for Director Of Projects positions?
Molex sponsors H-1B, TN, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, and employment-based Green Card pathways including EB-2 and EB-3 for director-level project roles. The right visa depends on your nationality, degree level, and career stage. TN is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying professional categories, while EB-2 and EB-3 require PERM labor certification through the DOL before USCIS can adjudicate your immigrant petition.
What qualifications does Molex expect for Director Of Projects roles?
Molex's Director Of Projects roles in the fashion and apparel supply chain typically require a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, supply chain management, operations, or a closely related technical field. Significant experience managing cross-functional project teams, vendor relationships, and product development timelines is expected. For H-1B eligibility, your degree must directly relate to the duties of the specific role, which USCIS evaluates as a specialty occupation requirement.
How long does the visa sponsorship process take for a Director Of Projects role at Molex?
Timeline depends heavily on which visa applies to your situation. An H-1B transfer from another employer can be filed and approved in a few weeks with premium processing through USCIS. A new H-1B cap-subject petition requires waiting for the April lottery and cannot start before October 1. A Green Card through PERM adds at least 12 to 18 months before USCIS even receives the immigrant petition, with priority date backlogs adding further time for many nationalities.
