Matlab Simulink Developer (Stateflow Models)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Matlab Model Based Development – Capable of designing moderately complex algorithms using model based design tools (I.e. Matlab/Simulink).
- Ability to create Matlab Simulink and Stateflow models using a written problem description. Candidates with experience limited to modifying or fixing existing models will not be adequate for our needs.
- Understands the underlying principles, techniques, and procedures used in Matlab and Simulink.
- Creates appropriate design documentation for review.
- Experience with performance simulation – Use of mathematic models and computer aided engineering/scientific design tools such as Matlab/Simulink, Math CAD etc to simulate steady state, dynamic and transient operation of embedded controls.
- Experience performing product level testing.
- Candidate will create Matlab Simulink and Stateflow models to produce embedded software for generator set and automatic transfer switch controllers.
- Understanding of principles of electrical systems in power generation industry, such as distributed/embedded power generation, conventional centralized power generation, islanded/standalone power system etc.
- Electrical engineering graduate preferred.
- Local candidates preferred; non-local candidates must agree to relocate to the Minneapolis area.
- Candidate will be working at the Shoreview building Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
- For several weeks, the candidate may be required to work in the Shoreview building five days each week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday).
- Full time, 40 hours each week.
