About the role
Every enterprise is racing to build AI-powered apps and agents but speed without the right runtime creates chaos, not transformation. Sigma is the AI Runtime Environment that makes those apps governable, scalable, and real, and the Sr. PMM, Sigma Apps will play a critical role in developing and executing the go-to-market narrative and strategy for Sigma Apps.
This role requires someone who understands both sides of the enterprise software conversation: the IT leaders and data engineers who evaluate and govern application infrastructure, and the line-of-business owners who care about outcomes, speed, and usability. You'll translate Sigma's application development capabilities into stories that resonate with both and create the materials the sales team needs to tell those stories in the field.
- Develop and maintain positioning and messaging for Sigma Apps including no-code app building, AI-assisted workflow automation, embedded analytics, and apps built with external coding agents working closely with the Director of Product Marketing, Apps and the Product team.
- Support new feature launches and capability expansions, coordinating across product, design, marketing, and sales to bring new capabilities to market clearly and effectively.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to deeply understand and influence the Sigma Apps roadmap bringing market, customer, and competitive insights that help shape and prioritize it.
- Partner with sales reps and the Enablement team to understand what's working in the field and use those insights to sharpen messaging, update battlecards, and improve enablement materials.
- Partner with the Enablement team to build and maintain sales enablement content solution briefs, pitch decks, use case guides, competitive comparisons, and discovery question frameworks that help the field confidently sell Sigma Apps.
- Build and maintain competitive analysis and battlecards for the no-code/low-code, embedded analytics, and enterprise application development space.
- Write and contribute to thought leadership content, blog posts, and customer-facing collateral that educate the market on Sigma's App vision.
- Develop customer-facing case studies and proof points that demonstrate the business impact of building with Sigma Apps.
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of product marketing experience in B2B enterprise software, with a preference for experience in enterprise application software or application development tools.
- Working knowledge of the enterprise application development landscape including how IT, data engineering, and operations teams evaluate and procure platforms.
- Ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling value narratives that resonate with both technical and business buyers.
- Strong skills in creating sales enablement content you know what reps actually use in the field, and you create materials that reflect real buyer conversations.
- Experience with win/loss analysis, customer interviews, and translating buyer insights into sharper messaging.
- A data-driven mindset you use win/loss data, pipeline metrics, and customer feedback to continuously improve your work.
- Familiarity with the cloud data platform, BI, or analytics ecosystem is a plus.
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Target engineering and data roles first
Sigma Computing's sponsorship activity is concentrated in technical disciplines. Software engineering, data infrastructure, and product-adjacent roles are where visa sponsorship is most consistently offered, focus your application efforts there rather than on business or operations functions.
Understand that Sigma sponsors multiple visa types
Sigma Computing has sponsored H-1B, H-1B1 visa, TN, and F-1 OPT candidates, as well as Green Card applicants. If you're on OPT or a TN, you're not locked out, the company has a demonstrated history of supporting diverse work authorization pathways.
Don't overlook Green Card sponsorship potential
Sigma Computing has a meaningful track record of employer-sponsored Green Card filings, which matters if you're thinking long-term. Ask recruiters directly about PERM timelines and whether the role is eligible for permanent residence sponsorship from the start.
Time your application around their hiring cycles
Technology and software companies like Sigma Computing tend to ramp hiring in Q1 and Q3. Aligning your applications to these windows improves your odds of landing a role before H-1B cap season, giving the company time to file on your behalf.
Come prepared to discuss your visa status early
Sigma Computing is an active sponsor, but immigration questions often arise in recruiter screens. Be upfront about your visa type, authorization end date, and any upcoming OPT or cap deadlines so recruiters can assess sponsorship feasibility without surprises later.
Use a platform that filters by verified sponsorship history
Not every job listing at a tech company will clarify sponsorship eligibility upfront. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsors so you can filter by real sponsorship history and find Sigma Computing roles confirmed to be open to visa candidates.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Sigma Computing sponsor H-1B visas?
Yes, Sigma Computing sponsors H-1B visas and has done so consistently across its technical hiring. The company primarily sponsors roles in software engineering, data infrastructure, and related product functions. Sigma Computing also has a track record of supporting Green Card sponsorship for longer-term employees, making it a strong option for candidates seeking both initial sponsorship and a path to permanent residence.
Which visa types does Sigma Computing sponsor?
Sigma Computing sponsors H-1B, H-1B1 visa, and TN visas, and supports F-1 OPT candidates during their authorized work period. The company also files employer-sponsored Green Card petitions, primarily through the EB-2 and EB-3 categories. This range of visa types reflects a company infrastructure built to support international talent across multiple authorization pathways.
How do I know if a role at Sigma Computing is open to visa sponsorship?
Job postings don't always specify sponsorship eligibility clearly. The most reliable approach is to raise your visa status early in the recruiter screen and ask directly whether the role is budgeted for sponsorship. You can also use Migrate Mate to browse Sigma Computing roles filtered by verified sponsorship history, which removes guesswork before you invest time in an application.
Which departments at Sigma Computing are most likely to sponsor visas?
Sigma Computing's sponsorship activity is heavily concentrated in engineering and technical roles, including software development, data engineering, and infrastructure. Product management roles with a technical orientation also appear in their sponsorship history. Sales, marketing, and general administrative functions are less commonly sponsored, though it depends on the seniority and specialization of the specific role.
How do I approach the application timeline at Sigma Computing as a visa-dependent candidate?
If you need H-1B sponsorship, timing matters significantly. Sigma Computing would need to file your H-1B petition by the April 1 deadline for work authorization starting October 1, so you'll want an offer in place well before March. For OPT or TN candidates, the timeline is more flexible. Start conversations with Sigma Computing recruiters at least two to three months before your current authorization expires to allow enough time for internal approvals and filing preparation.
