Key Account Manager
Overview
Myriad Genetics is seeking exceptional Key Account Sales professionals who want to make a meaningful impact on patient lives through precision medicine. As a Key Account Manager (KAM), you won’t just sell solutions—you’ll shape how health systems adopt and scale genomics at an enterprise level. By leading initiatives that expand access, embed Myriad solutions into clinical workflows, and drive measurable clinical and business outcomes, you’ll play a direct role in advancing the future of patient care.
This role blends strategic account leadership, digital transformation, and consultative partnership at the intersection of genomics, technology, and healthcare delivery. The KAM fuels growth by executing EMR and digital integrations, activating hereditary cancer screening protocols, and delivering high‑impact strategic initiatives across aligned clinical accounts and networks. You will ensure Myriad’s tools, workflows, and programs are not only implemented—but fully adopted and optimized—so providers can focus on what matters most: delivering better care to more patients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead EMR and digital integrations that embed Myriad solutions into clinical workflows by:
- Identifying optimal EMR integration pathways (HL7, FHIR, APIs, ordering, results, CDS).
- Partnering with IT, informatics, and clinical teams to define requirements, timelines, and go‑live criteria.
- Supporting workflow design, EMR configuration (Epic, Cerner, Athena), testing, and validation.
- Driving post–go‑live adoption and resolving utilization barriers.
- Expanding digital workflows through new products, optimized order sets, and enhanced CDS.
- Coordinating cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution before, during, and after launch.
Design and optimize screening and patient identification programs by:
- Assessing and refining digital and manual workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and patient capture.
- Implementing best‑in‑class screening practices that enable earlier detection and appropriate patient segmentation.
- Deploying and supporting tools such as questionnaires, EHR filters, registries, and automated outreach.
- Partnering with clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders to tailor programs to each account’s care model and population.
- Driving adoption through training, change management, and performance monitoring to improve reach, conversion, and compliance.
Ensure successful execution of Myriad’s strategic priorities by:
- Leading product launches, new tools, services, and enterprise partnerships within assigned accounts.
- Translating enterprise strategy into clear account plans with defined milestones and success metrics.
- Aligning cross‑functional teams around resources, workflows, and messaging.
- Driving adoption through workflow implementation, training, and continuous optimization.
- Tracking KPIs and delivering insights that demonstrate value and inform future strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred
- 7+ years of field sales experience in biotech, diagnostics, or adjacent fields, including 5+ years in health system account management, EMR implementation, clinical operations, or digital health programs
- Must reside within assigned territory; ability to travel 50–75%
- Proven experience across:
- EMR/EHR workflows (Epic, Cerner, Athena), order build, results routing, CDS, and go-live stabilization
- Interoperability (HL7, FHIR, APIs), testing, UAT, and issue resolution
- Program execution, analytics, KPI tracking, and optimization
- Screening protocol design and operationalization
- Change enablement, stakeholder orchestration, and executive communication
- Commercial acumen, systems thinking, problem solving, and customer‑centric decision making
- Ability to influence without authority, manage complexity, and adapt quickly in dynamic environments
Compensation and Benefits
Estimated OTE: $235,796 – $274,746 annually (base + at-target incentive)
Benefits Highlights
Myriad offers comprehensive, competitive benefits designed for flexibility and well-being, including:
- Medical plans with 100% covered preventive care, HSA/FSA with company contributions, 12-week paid parental leave, and employer-paid disability
- Flexible discretionary time off (DTO)

Focus on Green Card-eligible roles
Myriad Genetics's sponsorship activity is concentrated in permanent residence pathways like EB-2 and EB-3. Target roles in clinical science, bioinformatics, and laboratory operations where employer-sponsored Green Card petitions are most likely to be initiated.
Align your background with precision medicine
Myriad specializes in hereditary cancer testing, pharmacogenomics, and reproductive health diagnostics. Candidates with expertise in molecular biology, genetic counseling, or clinical data analysis are best positioned for roles where immigration sponsorship is a realistic outcome.
Understand the long-term sponsorship timeline
Green Card sponsorship through EB-2 or EB-3 takes years, not months. If you're on F-1 OPT or TN status, discuss sponsorship intentions early in the hiring process so Myriad's legal team can plan the PERM labor certification filing accordingly.
Leverage OPT and TN as entry points
Myriad Genetics supports F-1 OPT and TN visa holders, which can serve as a bridge to permanent sponsorship. Starting in a role on OPT or TN gives both you and the employer time to evaluate fit before committing to a Green Card petition.
Target scientific and technical departments
Sponsorship at Myriad tends to follow the company's core scientific functions. Roles in genomics, laboratory science, bioinformatics, and clinical affairs are the most natural fit. Use Migrate Mate to filter for verified sponsors in healthcare diagnostics and find relevant open positions.
Prepare for a rigorous PERM documentation process
EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship requires extensive documentation of your qualifications and the role's requirements. Gather academic transcripts, degree equivalency evaluations, and employment records early, especially if your credentials were earned outside the United States.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Myriad Genetics sponsor H-1B visas?
Based on available sponsorship data, Myriad Genetics does not appear to be an active H-1B visa sponsor. Its immigration support is focused on Green Card pathways, specifically EB-2 and EB-3, along with F-1 OPT and TN visas. Candidates seeking H-1B visa sponsorship should clarify the company's current policy directly with the recruiter or HR team during the interview process.
What visa types does Myriad Genetics sponsor?
Myriad Genetics sponsors permanent residence through EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card categories, and supports employees on F-1 OPT and TN visas. Its sponsorship profile reflects a preference for long-term immigration commitments over temporary work visas, making it most relevant for candidates who are already in the U.S. and looking to build a permanent career in precision medicine.
Which roles at Myriad Genetics are most likely to receive visa sponsorship?
Sponsorship at Myriad Genetics tends to align with the company's core scientific and technical functions. Roles in molecular biology, genetic counseling, bioinformatics, laboratory operations, clinical affairs, and data science are the most likely candidates for Green Card-backed sponsorship. Corporate and administrative roles are less commonly associated with employer-sponsored immigration support.
How do I find open positions at Myriad Genetics that offer visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsorship data so you can browse Myriad Genetics job openings with confidence in the company's immigration track record. Filter by visa type and industry to find roles that match your background in healthcare or life sciences. Applying through a platform that confirms real sponsorship history saves time and reduces the risk of pursuing companies that don't actually sponsor.
How do I approach the sponsorship conversation with Myriad Genetics during the hiring process?
Raise the sponsorship question after receiving a strong indication of interest, typically after a second or third interview round. Be specific about your current visa status, your authorized work period, and your long-term goals. Since Myriad's sponsorship is Green Card-focused, frame the conversation around permanent commitment to the role and the company's mission in precision diagnostics, which signals you're thinking beyond a short-term fix.
