Align your credentials to U.S. teaching standards
State teaching licensure or certification is often a prerequisite for Education roles at New Paradigm For Education. If your credentials are from abroad, get them evaluated through a NACES-approved agency before applying so your qualifications translate clearly to a U.S. hiring committee.
Target roles that match your degree field exactly
H-1B eligibility in education requires a direct link between your degree and the specific subject or role you're teaching. A mismatch between your major and the position, say a marketing degree for a math teaching role, can trigger a USCIS denial regardless of your classroom experience.
Use Migrate Mate to filter Education openings by visa type
Not every school or charter network sponsors work visas. Search Education jobs at New Paradigm For Education filtered by sponsorship type on Migrate Mate so you're only spending time on roles that match your specific visa situation, whether that's H-1B, OPT, or TN.
Ask about the school year hiring timeline early
K-12 schools hire on an academic calendar. H-1B petitions filed under the regular cap have an October 1 start date, which may not align with a mid-year opening. Confirm whether the role qualifies as cap-exempt through a university affiliation, which would allow earlier filing.
Prepare your OPT or CPT documentation before interviews
If you're on F-1 OPT, have your EAD card, SEVIS record, and I-20 ready to share at the offer stage. New Paradigm For Education uses E-Verify, so your employment authorization must be confirmed before your first day. Delays in documentation can push back your start date.
Clarify who initiates the LCA during offer negotiation
For H-1B sponsorship, your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL certifying the offered wage meets the prevailing rate for educators in that geographic area. Confirm during the offer stage whether New Paradigm For Education's HR team handles this internally or works with outside counsel.

Find Education at New Paradigm For Education JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does New Paradigm For Education sponsor H-1B visas for Educations?
Yes, New Paradigm For Education has a documented history of sponsoring H-1B visas for Education roles. The process requires the organization to file a Labor Condition Application with the DOL and then submit an H-1B petition to USCIS on your behalf. Sponsorship is typically tied to specific open positions, so your best path is applying directly and confirming sponsorship availability during the interview process.
Which visa types are commonly used for Education roles at New Paradigm For Education?
New Paradigm For Education supports several work authorization pathways for Education positions, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 CPT, and TN visas. H-1B is the most common long-term option for educators in specialty occupation roles. OPT and CPT are practical for recent graduates entering the classroom, while TN is available to Canadian and Mexican citizens in qualifying education occupations.
What qualifications or experience are expected for Education roles at New Paradigm For Education?
Most Education roles require at minimum a bachelor's degree in education or a relevant subject area, along with state teaching certification or eligibility for licensure in Michigan. Instructional roles often favor candidates with classroom experience in K-12 settings. For H-1B eligibility specifically, USCIS requires the position to qualify as a specialty occupation, meaning a direct relationship between the degree field and the job duties.
How do I apply for Education jobs at New Paradigm For Education?
Browse current Education openings at New Paradigm For Education through Migrate Mate, which lets you filter by visa sponsorship type so you can identify roles that match your work authorization. Once you find a relevant position, apply directly through the company's hiring portal. Be upfront about your visa status in early conversations so the HR team can confirm sponsorship availability before extending an offer.
How do I plan my timeline when applying for a sponsored Education role?
K-12 hiring cycles and visa filing windows don't always align. H-1B petitions filed under the annual cap have an October 1 start date, which may conflict with a fall semester opening. If you're on OPT, check your EAD expiration date and whether you're eligible for a 24-month STEM extension. Starting conversations with hiring managers at least three to four months before your intended start date gives both sides time to navigate the filing process without rushing.
