The Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare and Rehabilitation, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner to join our team of dedicated specialists working in the Medical Department.
In this role working alongside caring, dedicated, and experienced Medical leadership, the Nurse Practitioner will report to the Medical Director, or the supervisory Attending Physician, and is responsible for the delivery of compassionate and quality medical care of assigned residents in coordination with other members of the health care team.
Some key responsibilities of the position include examining residents and delivering quality care in varied settings including subacute, long term, rehab and outpatient care, as well as assisting in resident/patient/family education and re-examine, re-evaluate and modify care plans as necessary, including maintaining proper documentation in resident charts.
