Frame your BA credentials around enterprise IT delivery
Persistent Systems deploys Business Analysts on client-facing technology transformation projects. Tailor your resume to show experience with requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and systems integration in enterprise software contexts, not just business process work.
Document your specialty occupation qualification early
USCIS requires H-1B petitions to demonstrate the role qualifies as a specialty occupation. For Business Analyst positions, gather evidence that your degree field directly relates to the technical systems or domain the role covers before you receive an offer.
Target Persistent Systems openings through Migrate Mate
Filter for Business Analyst roles at Persistent Systems on Migrate Mate to surface positions where sponsorship is confirmed. This saves time you'd otherwise spend vetting individual job postings across general boards that don't surface visa sponsorship history.
Ask about LCA timing before accepting an offer
The Labor Condition Application must be certified by DOL before USCIS can approve an H-1B petition. Confirm with Persistent Systems' immigration team when they plan to file the LCA so you can plan your start date around the processing window.
Understand how TN status works for BA roles
If you're a Canadian or Mexican national, TN status can be an alternative pathway for qualifying Business Analyst roles. The role must align with an eligible USMCA category, so confirm the specific job description supports TN classification before the offer stage.
Prepare for client site requirements during onboarding
Persistent Systems Business Analysts are often placed at client locations. Some clients run E-Verify independently of Persistent Systems. Confirm your work authorization documents are current and complete before your first client engagement to avoid delays in placement.

Find Business Analyst at Persistent Systems JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Persistent Systems sponsor H-1B visas for Business Analysts?
Yes, Persistent Systems sponsors H-1B visas for Business Analyst roles. The company has a consistent record of filing H-1B petitions for this function, particularly for roles tied to enterprise technology delivery and client-facing consulting engagements. You'll want to confirm sponsorship availability directly with the recruiter during the interview process, as not every open position is designated for sponsorship.
Which visa types does Persistent Systems commonly use for Business Analyst roles?
Persistent Systems most commonly uses the H-1B for Business Analyst hires, but also sponsors EB-2 and EB-3 Green Card pathways for longer-term employees, which typically involves PERM labor certification through DOL. Canadian and Mexican nationals may also be eligible for TN status if the role's job description maps to a qualifying USMCA occupation category.
What qualifications and experience does Persistent Systems expect from Business Analyst candidates?
Persistent Systems typically looks for candidates with a bachelor's degree in a technical or business-adjacent field, such as computer science, information systems, or engineering. Practical experience with requirements documentation, user stories, Agile or Scrum workflows, and enterprise software platforms is expected. Client-facing consulting experience is a strong differentiator for roles tied to their technology services engagements.
How do I apply for Business Analyst jobs at Persistent Systems?
You can browse and apply for Business Analyst positions at Persistent Systems through Migrate Mate, which surfaces roles where visa sponsorship has been confirmed. When applying, tailor your application to highlight enterprise IT project experience and specific tools or methodologies relevant to the listed role. Follow up with the recruiter to confirm the position includes H-1B or other sponsorship support before advancing to later interview stages.
How do I plan my timeline if Persistent Systems sponsors my H-1B?
H-1B petitions for cap-subject candidates must be filed in April for an October 1 start date, following the annual lottery in March. If you're already on OPT or a STEM OPT extension, you'll need to track your remaining authorized period against these dates carefully. Persistent Systems' immigration team typically coordinates the Labor Condition Application and petition filing, but you should align on timing at the offer stage to avoid gaps in work authorization.
