Align your stack with Persistent's delivery model
Persistent Systems operates heavily in managed services and digital engineering for enterprise clients. Tailor your resume to highlight experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, or cloud-native tooling on client-facing or production-grade environments, not just internal projects.
Target roles flagged for H-1B eligibility
Not every DevOps posting at Persistent Systems is structured for sponsorship from day one. Filter your search for roles that explicitly mention visa sponsorship, then verify the job title aligns with a specialty occupation under USCIS criteria before investing time in the application.
Get your credentials evaluation done early
If your engineering degree is from outside the U.S., have it evaluated by a NACES-approved agency before you receive an offer. Persistent's HR team will need this for the H-1B petition, and delays on your end can push the USCIS filing window.
Understand the TN option if you hold Canadian or Mexican citizenship
Persistent Systems sponsors TN visas for qualifying DevOps roles. The TN category covers computer systems analysts, and if your responsibilities map cleanly to that definition, you can bypass the H-1B lottery entirely and start faster.
Ask about filing timelines during the offer stage
Persistent Systems typically files H-1B petitions on the April 1 cap-subject schedule. If you receive an offer in late fall or winter, confirm whether your start date is contingent on lottery selection or whether cap-exempt or premium processing is available for your role.
Use Migrate Mate to find open DevOps roles at Persistent Systems
Filtering for visa-sponsoring employers in tech can take hours of manual research. Use Migrate Mate to browse DevOps openings at Persistent Systems that are verified for sponsorship, so you're spending time on applications that can actually move forward.

Find DevOps at Persistent Systems JobsFrequently Asked Questions
Does Persistent Systems sponsor H-1B visas for DevOps roles?
Yes, Persistent Systems sponsors H-1B visas for DevOps positions. The company operates as a technology and digital engineering firm, and DevOps roles typically qualify as specialty occupations under USCIS criteria. Sponsorship availability can vary by role and hiring cycle, so confirm directly with the recruiter during initial conversations about your status.
How do I apply for DevOps jobs at Persistent Systems?
You can apply through Persistent Systems' careers portal or find verified sponsorship-eligible openings on Migrate Mate, which filters specifically for roles where visa sponsorship is supported. When applying, make sure your resume reflects hands-on DevOps experience relevant to enterprise or managed services environments, since that aligns with Persistent's core delivery model.
Which visa types does Persistent Systems use for DevOps positions?
Persistent Systems sponsors H-1B visas as the primary work visa for DevOps roles, along with Green Card pathways through EB-2 and EB-3 PERM labor certification for longer-tenured employees. Canadian and Mexican citizens may also qualify for TN status if the role maps to a USMCA-covered occupation category such as computer systems analyst.
What qualifications does Persistent Systems expect for DevOps roles?
Most DevOps openings at Persistent Systems require a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field, which also satisfies the H-1B specialty occupation requirement. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible, and CI/CD pipeline management is consistently expected across their DevOps job descriptions.
How do I know if my H-1B timeline works for a Persistent Systems offer?
Cap-subject H-1B petitions must be filed by April 1 for an October 1 start date, so offers received after January can be tight. If you're currently on OPT or STEM OPT, your existing work authorization may bridge the gap. Confirm with Persistent's HR team whether they offer premium processing through USCIS, which can reduce approval wait times to a matter of weeks.
